This is a bit confusing - watermelon was on the superfree page in the old book as an EXCEPTION.
Does this mean watermelon is now a superfree?
its not named in the new book at all. the book has "melon all varieties" on the superfree page so i'd assume it'd be lumped in with that now. they must have decided its now super speed rather than just speed.0 -

I've completely lost it today - must be the news about the avocados!!!!
I've written it down for myself but not reporting it here but I must have had about 500 syns and it's only 1.30!!
Hopefully the slip is over and I can pick myself up and just carry on.
Good news about watermelon though - I love that and can eat tons of it in the summer.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
Rejoined my local group last night and had first WI, well I had not gone on my scales for a very long time and was actually surprised I thought I had 5 stones to lose but turns out its 4, I am actually the same weight I was when I went last time, how weird is that.
Having a bit of trouble understanding the new way of eating, when I last went you had a green day or a red day and you choose and it worked great for me but now I see some of the food that were extras or green day are in with red day......going to see if I can find my old book ( in the study somewhere) and compare to try and get it sorted out in my head.
As I seem to be starting a cold I have made a big pan of chicken soup with carrots, leeks and onions in it, but had have added some veg and chicken stock cubes and celery salt, salt and pepper, so going to just stick to that today - will eat the chicken as well but will not have any carbs ( I have to cut them down anyway as verging on diabetic). From what I can see everything except the stock cubes are free - well one is ok, but i have put 6 in as used chicken carcass for the soup so not much chicken on it and no more veg so wanted it tasty - so guess I will be overdoing the sins, but then the soup is to last 3 days and hubby will be having some tonight........
Tomorrow is shopping day so got to get my head round this so I know what to buy in, did pop into supermarket after class and picked up some bits and noticed quark - its weird I had never used it till last time I went and after I never noticed it and last night there it is large as life next to cottage cheese, which I did buy, just hadn't noticed it all these year since last went.
Just phoned my consultant and checked, I can stick to the red and green days, great, suited me last time I lost nicely but was able to do a bit more exercise, so I know this time going to be a bit harder on mainly diet alone.
One thing I want to ask here is it worth buying the directory?

Now if I could only bottle the terrible pains that I have right now from this binge and get a whiff of it every time I want to do it again. :eek:Mediterranean Mum

And just what I need to do - I have no spare cash at the moment eeek!
Only usually have them for an extra special treat but this one my work colleague bought me to say Happy New Year - Happy New Year Indead (she's on WW and although she can count them in, it takes a huge amount of her points)! Maybe next time I'll ask for the cash (he-he)
