    Morning all!

Maman - your dinner sounded lovely :T I'm going to try the recipe this week that appears in the mag every now and then - egg, chip and pepper bake. Looks yummy. Egg and chips is a real favourite of mine :)

Yesterday ended up being a green day. I never eat a huge amount of meat so think I will prob have a couple of green days a week and the rest as EE. Today is EE.

Breakfast: 2 egg omelette with grilled tomato's
Lunch: jacket potato with tuna, sweetcorn and a big salad
    Dinner: Gammon, new potato's, courgettes
    Snacks: Fruit
Drinks: Few coffees (HEA) and ryvita minis (HEB)

Spent a good couple of hours trawling recipes on here, magazines and minimins for some inspiration so I don't end up eating the same things all the time. Going to Tescos shopping this afternooon so hoping to find some nice goodies for the week.

    Miss P

    Morning all!
    Well done Magnolia!:j

I'm off to meet a friend in footballers wife territory in Cheshire for lunch today and have no idea what will be on offer so I'll just try to do my best with scoffing.;)

I'll plan the rest of the day around what I end up having for lunch.
I'm quite poor this month so its an incentive to not have a dessert!

I'm off on a medium sized dog walk in a minute to try to minimise the flab damage so better get going...
Will report in on whether I see any footballers or soap stars later!

    Morning all,

My day looks like this (green):

Breakfast: 2 WM toast (B), soft cheese (1), baked beans, mushrooms
Lunch: HM veg soup (carrots, onions, potato, green beans, stock cube), 1 WM bread (rest of B)
Dinner: HM mushroom and aubergine lasagne (cottage cheese/egg topping), sw wedges
Snacks: Grapes, tinned pineapple (3), club choc biscuit (5.5)
    Drinks: Milk in tea (A)

    That's 9.5 syns and 9 portions of F+V.

    Hello everyone,
Catching up as I have been MIA for two days (stepfather-in-law funeral on Wed, GCSE results day yesterday). Food choices not great but not totally dreadful, so going to draw a line under it and get back on track.
Hugs to Moneyqueen, take care of yourself.
I need to do some serious planning today. We will be staying away self catering next week, but I will be going into work each day, so I need to make sure I have the meals planned so that I don't end up going off plan due to not having ingredients etc.
Green day (as always, I am vegetarian)
HEA: skimmed milk for tea/coffee (need to actually measure this out!)
B: 28g muesli (whoops, forgot to syn this. 4 syns!!) and ff vanilla yog. Lots of strawberries. Polenta on the GF grill and two Linda McCartney sausages (4 syns, so not worth it).
L: May be out with a friend, will have jacket potato and beans if so. Must look up the syns for a cappucino.
D: HM pizza (2 x HEB for WM base, I have measured this recipe before and it does equal 2 x 57g WM bread), syn free tomato sauce and lots of roasted veg (done with frylight).
Some white wine (again, must actually measure this properly!)
    Looks like a plan!
    Good luck everyone!

Have the frozen quorn sausages in a bag been discontinued? I know they became synful as it were, but they are still the lowest syn value of that sort of thing but I can't find them in Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsburys or even Waitrose. Am I wasting my time looking for them?

    Morning:)

Green for me, i think in future it is probably safe to assume my day will be green. I dont eat enough meat to do EE, if i do want meat i'll syn it or use it as a B option i think.
Using 1/2 an A for milk
    42g All Bran(B), yoghurt, banana
    1/2 a melon, nectarine
    Lentil soup, WM bread(B), cheese(1/2A), ham(1), pickle(1)
    Quorn chilli, rice(1), cheese(A), salad

Both A+B and 3 syns accounted for above.

47/105 running total for the week.

After yesterdays accidental 19 syns I did a 6 mile run and had free tuna pasta for dinner, hopefully that limited the damage!

    Today is EE:

B: Oats so simple golden syrup (HEb + 1.5syn) milk (HEa)
L: tuna pasta cucumber tomatoes mayo (1syn)
D: hunters chicken (HEa for cheese, 3 syns for BBQ sauce) with jacket potato and veggies
S: nectarine, apple, strawberries, FF yog

So looks like 5 syns planned, will probably have a packet of french fries too (another 4).

T - hm curry meatballs in hm tom/veg sauce, pureed cauli, g/beans & peas and added to passata and onion. {Am determined hubby & son will eat veg even if they don't realise it :rotfl:]

How do you manage this? My OH is a veg-phobe and it makes planning meals quite difficult, I end up making 2 things sometimes! Do you literally blend the veggies into the sauce? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

:TMagnolia - brilliant loss again.. much inspiration for us all!!

Jo4nne - i wouldn't be going back to that class either.. hope there's another one near you thats accessible.

    Going for green today

B - apple, yogurt, half choc weetabix (2)
L - cheese and potato pie (HEA)
T - SW chips, HM burger(HEB) and roll (HEB) ketchup (2) and salad
    S - 1.5 slices of toast :o (8???) crisps (4) milk (2) satsumas

So over on syns because my work colleague made me eat toast but not too far over... (and so far i'm resisting the cupcakes on the desk next to me!!)

Its horrible weather today I just want to eat comfort food.. Inspirespirit if it wasn't for me already making the burgers i'd be having the Chicken and Leek pie too.. it's a favourite of mine for winter!! Hope you enjoy..

Right off for the day - hopefully my willpower stays intact!
