Afternoon all  had a good day yesterday it was my 1st SW Sunday roast so was a bit worried that id give up but it was ok i cooked my roast pots the sw way like syn free chips and they were really nice , also had loads of melon thru' the day which i find fills me up

B = 2 poached eggs on 1 WW bread (part of HE b)

L Good old speedy food soup (again lol :rotfl:) + asda frozen summer berries + chopped apple in a bowl and a mullerlight strawberry Ff yoghurt poured over the top

D = Roast pork lean with No fat roast pots carrots cauli cabbage and broccoli

Supper = melon + last 2 slices of ww bread with ham and sweet pickle on

    HE A= 350mls skim milk
HE b= 3 slices ww danish brown bread

    Syns =
    1 tabl tomato ketchup = 1
    gravy granules 4 tabl = 1
    Apple sauce 1 tabl = 1
    Sweet pickle 1 tabl = 1... so 4 syns today :)

I cant believe that im not feeling hungry on this "extra easy" plan and i honestly havent had any cravings for my usual cakes scones etc which is my big downfall usually cant resist them so a very happy bunny here.... just hope it lasts  :)

Well my weekend wasn't brilliant. Saturday was disastrous: an early morning scout trek finished with a full fry-up. Children's party in the latter half of the morning, An afternoon girly champagne birthday lunch (I like to live the high-life;)), polished off with wine and crisps evening at a friend's house. All while coughing and spluttering like a 50-a-day smoker.
All these things were planned way in advance and thought it was a great idea at the time but I kind of forgot they were all happening on the same day.....

However, I'm suffering now with a worse cold and annoyed about the syns involved.
Oh well onwards and upwards. Yesterday I was better and today I've been good - although I've eaten loads already it's still within the green plan!

B: Grilled Bacon rasher, fried egg and mushrooms. 1 slice HM rye bread (1xHEB)
L: Left-over mashed potato, cabbage and onion mixed with egg and cheese (1xHEA) to make a bubble & Squeaky thing. Served with piperonata and a slice of rye bread (1xHEB)
D: Will be pasta and tomato sauce - although may pass as I'm really not hungry after my huge lunch!
    Snacks: Muller yoghurt, fruit
Syns: Bacon Rasher, Butter with the bread, sugar with my lemsips, 1x biscuit

    Good luck all!

    Morning All!

To say i was supposed to be getting back on track i have not done very well :(

Friday wasn't too bad but oversynned on wine
Saturday - All you can eat and drink at our local pub!!!
Sunday - decorating the dining room all day so ordered pizza instead of cooking!

I'm going to try and be good for the rest of the week to salvage at least some of the damage. There's a bag of frozen fruit currently defrosting for me to munch throughout the day, a SW chilli for lunch, and then i'm off to mums tonight to do some zumba on the wii so she will be cooking a sw bolognaise tonight.

I don't know why i self sabatage, i know i'm overweight, i know im unhappy overweight, but i can always find ways to justify it to myself if i want something naughty :(

Hope everyone has a great monday!

    Nic xxx

This paragraph strikes a chord with me. Self sabotage is my favourite trick in the book. I know the plan inside out but if my head isn't in gear then it ain't happening and then once I've started on the slippery slope of syns well it just gets out of control because I get cross with myself and eat more rubbish/indulge even more as punishment?!

Me as well!!! Don't know why, I don't think we're in the minority though. xx

Oops Thanks TakeItEasy, I've sinned it now - I did think about it earlier but just forgot to put it in my post!

As for the Rye bread question earlier, this is a cheat of mine! I use one slice as a HEB as it has grains in it. It's homemade and I've calculated it to be around 5 syns which seems to be roughly equivalent or slightly less than a HEB.

I do the same with granary bread now thanks to MrsMs advice- I just don't like wholemeal!

It worked fine the last time I was on the SW wagon (even though I used 2x slices Rye instead of just one) so hopefully will this time!

Another thing, I'm on the online SW site and the HEB's include multigrain bread - any reason why the UK HEB's don't include it?

    Cheers m'dears,

Completed my 10k run today albeit came in last (in my defence there were not many running and it was a tough course). I also don't think it helped that I'm a stone above target.

It was my aim to get back to target (and more) by the end of January (when the rematch 10 mile run is) but after today, I won't be partaking in the 10 miler but I still want to get back to target.

I had my picture taken after the run and you can see that I have put on weight so that picture is becoming *that picture* that will be my motivation to shift the pounds. I'm too embarrassed to put the picture on facebook. Things will change.

    Meal planning tomorrow !

well on behalf of those of us on the tank, may I say we are proud of you for doing it!!!!

oh lordy Dizzy - you'll have to hang a flag on the shower curtain saying "Ear out" or something.
