  • Hi everyone,
I haven't posted in such a long time but have decided to try SW again.
I'm just trying to work out meal plans for the week but am stuck on something.
I want to make some speed soup but tend to go for RED days more than green so how do i add the soup to my day.....IE: How much for how many syns etc?
I'll likely be eat some kind of variation everyday for a little while.

Thanks for any help and good luck for a lovely loss this week everyone. :D

Hello blackberry- rum  super free (dyno rod lol) soup has the following ingredients

    Speed food Soup
(syn free on Green and EE) makes a mahoooosive pan!! - freezes well

1 can mixed bean salad (free on green/extra easy?)
1 can green lentils (or handful of dried) (free on green/extra easy?)
    2 cans chopped tomatoes (superfree)
1 can baked beans (free food)
Handful of split lentils (free green/extra easy?)
    2 large leeks (superfree)
    1 large onion (superfree)
    4 medium carrots (superfree)
2 parsnips (didnt have any of these)
1 each green, red and yellow peppers (superfree)
    2 vegetable stock cubes
    Salt pepper
    Mixed herbs
Water (enough to cover all ingredients)

I also added some green beans that i had in the fridge instead of the parsnips. Im still trying to get my head around the plan to be honest lol Also i am eating a lot more fruit after each meal and in between if that makes any sense lol

thanks Kelly, all I could remember was that it had beans beans and more beans in it (I tried it once and hated it!) and the extra fruit after and between meals is right on plan for EE, well done x

    Dizzy, have a fab holiday!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Completed my 10k run today albeit came in last (in my defence there were not many running and it was a tough course). I also don't think it helped that I'm a stone above target.

It was my aim to get back to target (and more) by the end of January (when the rematch 10 mile run is) but after today, I won't be partaking in the 10 miler but I still want to get back to target.

I had my picture taken after the run and you can see that I have put on weight so that picture is becoming *that picture* that will be my motivation to shift the pounds. I'm too embarrassed to put the picture on facebook. Things will change.

    Meal planning tomorrow !
  • Hi Everyone - just found this thread and would like to join in. I have been doing slimming world for 4 weeks and have lost 7.5lbs. A slow but steady weight loss which is fine with me. I was a bit surprised to get slimmer of the month though.

I have set myself a target of another 13.5lbs by Christmas as this will get me to my Club 10 award. Really hope this is realistic. Thinking of adding some exercise now though. Was thinking a couple of evenings on the PS Move and a sunday morning jog. Do you think this will be enough. Could try to walk to work a couple of times a week but not sure I would do this in bad weather.

Thanks dizzy but my good intentions haven't lasted that long. I've been excellent Friday and Saturday but was taken out for lunch unexpectedly today.

Probably too late now but have a great holiday!!

Today's breakfast was ok (Puffed Wheat and banana) but lunch in restaurant was full of syns in sauces etc and I've even had some chocolate tonight:eek:

Back on plan tomorrow with the roast we should have had today!
