Exactly what she said tie
What about a stir-fry Eric? You could just have the veg and meat (no rice or noodles) and then maybe take a snack to eat after WI or when you get home if it's not enough.
However, to be honest if this is going to be your regular time from now on, although you may see a 'gain' this week, it'll be normal to have dinner first from this week on so it should give you a starting point. I always have breakfast before my WI (lots of my group don't) so all my scores are from that starting point IYSWIM.0 -

Yes thats an idea. Although I always seem to burn stir fries ! :rotfl: I'm not worried about any weight gain I may have due to eating my tea tonight before class because like you say, it will even itself out. And as I said in my earlier post, I think I will end up having something syn free rather than syn full ! because I usually go to class and then get home and eat lots of rubbish and undo all the good work ?! Will be interesting to see how I get on not so much tonight but in coming weeks.0 -
Good morning!
Today I am planning to have an EE day -
B - 2 slices of wholemeal toast (HeB (weighed them and they weigh 59g for 2), 1 tbsp of jam (2 syns) and half a grapefruit
L - Potato wedges made from jacket potatoes, chicken and salad
D - I made a couple of cauliflower and broccoli cheeses yesterday, each cauliflower cheese totals 11 syns, if using the cheese as a HE and a jacket potato.
(I cooked a lot of jacket potatoes in one go on Sunday, instead of putting the oven on for one meal, so now I can just heat them up.)
snacks - fruit - apple, banana and a satsuma and natural yoghurt
My husband will be working until really late tonight and my parents are having my oldest for the night, so that gives me an evening to myself as my baby goes to be bed at 7 and will sleep until after midnight, time for a bit of a relax i think!!0 -
Just lost the 1 lbs at WI this week
i walked 7 days this week, one swimming class, circuit training, and the Wii 3 nights...but i will hang on in there and stick with it, like i suppose you cant expect bigger losses every week.....can you?

Hi all, Really sorry to hear your news TIE, just do as your name says and Take-It-Easy.
There are some really good weight loss stories on here - very inspirational. Well done to you all :T:T
Well I am one very surprised bunny as I lost 1.1/2 lbs at WI last night! I maintained the previous week and was pleased with that as I've had a run of birthdays for last 2 weeks with lots of eating out, but I hoped I had made some good menu choices and the loss shows I did ok.
That's it for 2 weeks as I'm off on my hols - not 100% sure I'll be able to stick to the diet all the time as I'll have no control over how food is prepared/cooked (going to Greece). They don't do diet drinks either
Oh well, I'm just going to make the best of it and hope that the gain won't be too bad - and then get straight back to plan once I'm back home again.
Keep on with the fantastic plans you all seem to have. Onwards and downwards to one and all!0 -
Big hugs TIE, look after yourself.

(before anyone asks, my personal SW hummus recipe is: 1 can chickpeas, few dollops plain yog, 1 teaspoon sesame oil (syn it), shake of Aromat, black pepper, 3 big roughly chopped garlic cloves, sprinkling of chilli flakes if you wish. Blend, using the liquid from the chickpeas to get it to the right consistency. Lick out blender.) this may be already on the recipe thread.
I made this today (minus the sesame oil cos I forgot it!) and it was gorgeous! Thanks so much
Hope today isn't too bad for you, takeiteasy.
Will be eating quite late tonight as husband is on a late shift so I'm going to make it early I think rather than run for pizza hut as we normally would!
B mullerlight, nectarine
L sw hummus, celery, cucumber, tomatoes, hea cheese
D chicken and veg curry
Fibre plus heb, probably have a curly wurly for my syns tonight (6) and maybe some quavers too (4.5)"Empires are not brought down by outside forces, they are destroyed by weaknesses from within."0 -

do 'em in your microwave, I do. lots of free vegetables (baby sweetcorn, mange touts, garlic, spring onion, perhaps some shredded cabbage, prawns if you like, julienne courgettes, sliced peppers) toss about with a little soy sauce and some chilli seeds and a spray of frylight, give 'em a minute or two, voila! Stir a little oyster sauce in for a treat. I do find soy can spit a bit in the micro so might be worth covering the dish to cook.
If you are doing noodles with it you'll need to cook them first as microwave stir fry is very quick.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
