Things You Never Thought You Could Sell

A couple of nights ago I was reading a thread on MSE about Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Serum going nuts on eBay, so I checked it out and it was true, listed a 7ml tube that I got as part of a free gift and sold it BIN £5.00 within a couple of hours - how nuts is that!!!! Loving it!"There's hard work. And there's not so hard work. I prefer not so hard work. But if you mix not so hard work with hard work it's harder than the not so hard work but not so hard as the hard work."

As a matter of interest did you just post them your vouchers as I have noticed some ebayers have said "choose your deal and i will send away for the deal and then send it on to you"
I am a bit worried about sending them my voucher with my name etc on them??
PS Love this thread, I just found it today and have spent all morning reading it and falling about laughing. Better than work any day!!:T
I ordered the deal for them, in this case it was two different lots of vouchers for a bar. You can only sell the ones that dont have your name on such as eating out etc. Anything with your name on the buyer would not be able to use.Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned, and the last fish has been caught,
will we realise that we cannot eat money.0 -
Regarding vouchers, I have £150 worth from Virgin trains, they sent them to me after a train I was on was delayed.
They don't have my name on I can aither call to arrange a ticket or take them to a station to purchase a ticket. I get my travel payed for through work so I don't think I will use them.
Would it be okay to put them on ebay? would they sell?

A car manifold, got more for that than I paid for the engine which came with it on (already had a manifold that was ok)
I have some old tax discs but would wonder what would be done with them, think I shall not put them on just incase, unless anyone knows why people buy them. I know people used to take the reg number off with thinners and reuse them but with all the current computer systems don't know if that's why they would buy them.
you cant do that now due t the paper its printed on, comes out in spots.
anyway what would be the point since they would be out of date?0 -

I don't think I'd mind selling anything any more! I wouldn't sell things that wouldn't be worth selling, but almost anything else that wasn't in the inherited family sentimental category could go on ebay tomorrow!
Oh poo - it's a 10p listing day today. I might leg it home now and start listing!LBM: Nov 2004 Debt Apr06: £19,273.46 (Highest)
