Quick update: horrid Breakfast in Bed Set now has a bid on it so has the new Valance and the perfume - all from the same person so try putting "Free collect in person" as the first postage option then how much 1st class etc. Someone might bid for more than 1 item if they are happy to collect.

  • Wow this post is awesome - THANK YOU!!

Odd socks and unopened contact lens solution - how much of both do I have lying around? :p Hooray!

Thanks to this thread I am now speculating on the monkey market - my local Morrisons has a huge stack of PG Tips monkey promos so I've bought three - much to the horror of DH - put one on just as a trial, and it's at more than the tea cost already, with 1 day left! :j I'll keep the other two until you can't get em in the shops any more...

Someone on here somewhere said they'd pay £2 for a picture of a badly drawn mule deer - was it you? I couldn't draw a mule deer (not even badly - lol) but I tried an owl - let's see how that goes...:rotfl:

Don't want to get off topic, but is there a way I can search for anything within 25 miles of my house that has a collection only delivery option?

I can obviously do the proximity search, but not collection only.

Glad it's not just me then... All my ex-pat friends are getting PG Tips for birthday presents this year, postage and tea paid for by monkey :p

Although having stocked up on monkeys, I'm still hanging on to 4 Jack Nicklaus fivers until they become 'more rare', so you might be falling over those monkeys for a while yet.

I sold my flat eric (which was an unwanted birthday present anyway) a couple of years ago for £30, so I'm hoping for those kind of returns

Weird things like empty fragrance bottles, I mean who would want a empty fragrance bottle?? But poeple do as I have just found out when I sold my wife's empty Angel perfume bottle for £5.50.

I can't see that anybody answered your question ;) but I can..... The Angel perfume counter at department stores will refill the bottles for you....at a lower cost than buying a bottle the same size new!!!! :T

    Regards

    Kate

Only if it's a refillable one, cost slightly more to begin with but the refills are cheaper than buying a new bottle.

Jean Paul Gaultier bottles are very collectable as some of them are only available for a season.

  • £27 for 2 pairs of secondhand shoes that were going to the charity shop
  • Nevadagirl: that's brilliant, why didn't I think of that? My bro in New Mexico is always asking us to post him tea, and there was me thinking what on earth am I going to do with this tea mountain? Duh :p
