Things You Never Thought You Could Sell

I just find ebay really unpredictable. I mean I've just sold a brand new baby Ralph Lauren jumper for £2.80, but a used Tigger shirt for £3.50. My dad gave me a throw he had been sent by a catalogue as a free present with other stuff he had ordered. You could see why it was free, it's really disgusting and horrible fabric. I described it very accurately (although I replaced digusting and horrible with lovely and colourful) and it has just sold for....£11.50 plus £1.99 p&p!0

There was a washing machine in our Maisonette when we moved in June 2005. Since there was no back garden and no space for a separate dryer, we had to buy a washer dryer. I had no idea how old the washing machine was and no manual. I put it on EBay with pictures and model number thinking "well if someone pays 99p for it it saves me paying someone else to take it away". It sold for £48!!!!!
That put a smile on my face I tell you
Nick£5850 in the rainy day fund - target £9000£575 in OH 40th BDay Account - target £5000 by April 2013 :eek:0 -

I've been selling on Ebay for a few years It's amazing what does sell and the things that you think will sell don't!
I usualluy sell enough to pay for my spending money on hols. Can take a lot of your time up though. But great for getting rid of those items that are too good to give away.
even my eldest daughter sorts her clothes out and asks me to put them on Ebay then we split the profits. My son has just sortted his room out and decided he's too grown up for Bob the builder and asked if he can sell them!!Weight loss so far :
Week 1 - 4.5lbs
Week 2 - 2.5lbs = 7lbs0 -
This site is brilliant! I am definately going through my drawers tomorrow in readiness for the cheap listing day on Tues 20th Feb.
I checked out the "other" website for inspiration, and noticed some really bizarre items up for grabs! Including this one: -
