Childrens fancy dress seems to be selling really well I bought a sheriff set from the poundshop just beacuse I needed the cowboy hat & gun, I didnt need the 5 plastic sheriff badges that came with it I so I stuck them on ebay and already have bids of £1.20 which is more than I paid for the whole set!

Also womens used, well worn sexy shoes tend to sell very well to guys with shoes fetishes (dont ask)

I sold an old carpet that i found in the loft when we moved into our new house. It was filthy and threadbare but we took it to the carboot and it made £8 !!!!!!!

I sold my broken video camera for £15 and the guy even collected it himself. Mind you bet he fixed it and sold it for £100! Well your rubbish becomes someone else's treasure as they say.
I sold some jewellery last week for £16 and was worried I would get negative feedback as I didn't expect it to sell for so much, but the lady was delighted with it and left me some lovely feedback.
Right what can I sell next?!?
  • Have downloaded the turbo lister now. Just received 2 baileys frothers in the post - a freebie we applied for AGES ago and forgotten about, will put them on ebay when everyone else who has just received them has sold theirs!

Sometime last year I went out in the alleyway at the back of our house while swilling the yard and noticed someone had dumped a load of cobbles/setts outside our backwall...so I brought them in and used them :D I made small raised beds (half the height of the setts..just to stop the soil washing away as much) and used the rest to stand pots on. Well all my pots have now gone so I had 86 of these cobbles cluttering up my yard....they've just sold for over £20 :D :j

Also managed to sell a Thomson holiday vouchers (£100 off a £1000 spend) that came free in the [STRIKE]junk mail[/STRIKE] advertising leaflets with our local free paper. In the past I've just thrown these in the recycling box, now I'm going to start selling them! :D:j

  • I have just finished selling some 2007 calendars on ebay that our local card shop gave away for free the day after they closed down - just timed it right for walking past when they put a free sign up on this box, everyone delved in to help themselves. Sold between 99p - £6 on each, there were about 18 to start with. Also got some free wrapping paper for next christmas, in the loft with the 50p for 30 cards I bought!
  • I'm selling some NASA stickers for various missions which a friend of mine sent me about ten years ago. She worked in Goddard Space Centre. I've seen these selling on ebay for $4-10 for about 3 or 4 stickers. Some appear to be quite rare so who knows! I asked her for a NASA sticker and she sent me about 50! I couldn't bear to throw them out, but selling them is another matter! yay! go me!
  • Have recently sold unopened contact lens solution.

Have loads of the stuff as hubby and I never seem to get through the 2 bottles each month they send us. I'd been throwing unopened bottles out as we had a not so little collection of the stuff - but no more!

We have just bought some new furniture so wondered if the old stuff might sell. I have put our dinning room table and chairs on they are beech, nice and solid originally from John Lewis. It is doing well 3 bids up to £30 within 36 hours of putting it on.
Need to get rid of the bed too but second hand bed does not seem to sell so is selling the pine heardboard instead. They seem to be selling for £10 to £20 which is better than giving it to the charity with the bed.
Might have a look around since it is 1/2 price today and load on some more.
Hope this thread keeps going I really love it.

Phew just listed two more things, a brand new Valance for the Kingsize bed we don't need anymore and a Breakfast in Bed Set. Cups saucers, egg cups to works hope someone will fancy it as a mothers day present. Better stop now or the cat might get listed next.
