  • The oddest thing I sold was an old wooden coat hanger, that I friend had put an item of clothing on for me to sell, the hanger had a name of a shop on it and after a bit of research on the net found it was around 100 years old it went for £7.50

I saw a bag of Action Man clothes and accessories for sale in a charity shop the other day for £1, which i was tempted to get, but then i imagined my GFs reaction when i got home, so i didn't get it. But a search on ebay reveals some very healthy sales!

Got a whole load of stuff listed at mo, see how they go.

Sold £30 of tesco clubcard vouchers for £60 last week

    All Good

As a matter of interest did you just post them your vouchers as I have noticed some ebayers have said "choose your deal and i will send away for the deal and then send it on to you"
I am a bit worried about sending them my voucher with my name etc on them??
PS Love this thread, I just found it today and have spent all morning reading it and falling about laughing. Better than work any day!!:T

re the tesco vouchers, i was v pleasedto sell my 1st lot for nearly £5 however 2nd lot i posted out went for 50p, buyer didn't read the listing properly and was unhappy so i gave immediate full refund and said keep the vouchers then he left me negative feedback!!! first negative in whole time on ebay and for sake of 50p worth of vouchers that buyer kept! so, i'm a bit unsure now whether it's worth the bother
This time next year Rodney... :D

  • Fyi, the dvla has ways of finding out if your tax disc is legitimate or not. Each disc has a serial number and that number is logged against the original reg of the car it was bought for. Therefore, tippexing out the reg will NOT work!

Tell me about it. My dad once bought an old banger (supposedly with a few months' tax left on it) and discovered after he'd got it home that the tax disc was a colour photocopy!
