  • Hi, I have just sold an ann summers pocket pleaser my wife got from an ann ssummers party the other week. They had been going for anything between £2 and £6 lately, but it just sold for £10.50 and £2 postage. Thing is they are only £10 off the ann summers website.

Oh well whos complaining, more to the debt

I sold a huge bag of odd socks once.. as 'craft items'.. great for sock puppets etc.. they wen't for about £6.. it was 3 years ago..and I now have 3 binbags full! (sorted 1 bag full out the other day!)

I've sold a few mobiles which were clearly listed as 'broken/faulty.. apparently to someone in Asia who rixed/repaired or whatever.

My daughters extracted teeth.. no word of a lie!!! I have the listing in my turbo lister still!!.. that was 3 or so years ago too.

Some pretty gross random stuff listed as a bet.. they sold, I won the bet.. got the 50p for the gross random stuff and £50 from my brother!!! (sticky plaster listed as used.. (wasn't really!) socks contaminated with athletes foot .. (possibly was but I wasn't getting close enough to check as it belonged to said brother)

We actually had bit of a laugh at other peoples expense listing gross stuff between us to see what would sell and what wouldn't... most did which led us to believe some people have REALLY weird fetishes or they realised we were freaks and bought it out of pity.

In my defence, I've not done it for several years.

I can't read any further tonight- got as far as p11 but have to say I bought a roof box for my car 18(ish) months ago. The chappy I bought it from said he had listed them (he had 2 ) everywhere and couldn't sell them even at car boots but they had both flown on ebay. I got the older one and was over the moon as it was less than 1/3 of the price of hiring one and I've kept it.

Lucky you, I put a similar thing on once at they removed it. Luckily I sold it to the top bidder who contacted me outwith ebay (not ideal I know - that'll teach me to have too much wine at an AS party :rotfl: )
