  • how much do you think about ten tax discs will make? they're from the mid 90s onwards? I just did a search and most of the ones for sale seem to be really old (at least 1970s and earlier).
Anyone successfully sold more recent ones?
Loving this board, you guys have been so creative!!!

    Hi,

No idea but I have a pile of old tax discs from a Ferrari. Might be able to hit two types of [strike]nerd[/strike] bidder with that one.

  • This is my first post on MSE, so hello ;)
I've been reading this thread with huuuge interest as I've got so much stuff I'd never even considered putting on ebay, thinking 'nobody would want that old junk'! But now I know differently :T Thanks for all the ideas!

One question - I looked for socks being sold for craft and couldn't find any (the only old or used socks I found were entitled 'gay interest'!) - what did you list them under, people who've sold socks for sock puppetry?

    Bye for now

I recently sold a job lot of Koi carp magazines for a good price. On reflection I should have just told my husband I'ld buy them from now on and give him last years to read again.

Got £40 for an old Sega Megadrive I found when we moved.

Welcome Jane, this thread is wicked but there is MEGA MILLIONS of stuff on this website - itt'll take years to get through it all. No idea about the sock thing - sorry, I would be tempted to list them under Gay interest :rotfl: Probably get more for them
  • Hi everyone:hello:

This is my first post too (I've been lurking for AGES!!!)

This thread is soo inspiring, I've just looked out some old interiors magazines to list on eBay...kicking myself for putting most of my old mags in the recycling last month!

My hubby has taken my camera to work with him so I'll have to wait til he comes home to list them...plenty of time to scour the house for more 'treasure'!
