I tried to sell a January copy of Computer Shopper on ebay earlier in the month. No bids. Then last night a guy from canada emailed and asked if i still had it and did i wanna sell it. I emailed back and told him it would be £15 incl p&p, so now i await his response!"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

I sold my daughter old ballet shoes. I was about to put them in the bin and I decided to put them in the washer instead.
They came up lovely and sold for about 20p more than I had paid for them.
After that I listed all the ballet and tap shoes she has grown out of and they have all sold.0 -
My son was delighted when his old trainers sold for £4.99. Offering to list his old junk on eBay for him (he's too young to have his own eBay account) is a good way of persuading him to tidy his room!0

Guess what im doing with the one i found0 -

the diamond was my mini medela breast pump that went for £26.00, yes a used breast pump! Fully sterilised in milton for 6 hours though0 -

Fantastic thread has given me sooooo many ideas, found an old video I have went for £20 last week!!! But still gutted about loads of Just 17 mags I threw a few months ago, I didn't realise you could de-clutter and gain money!!!
Anyway my two penneth is......I had a baby last year and you get soooo many freebies with babies, I didn't want them at all but being the clutter monkey I kept them all!! So decided to gather them all together and sell them-
Loads of free dummies (not used, sealed and decent brands and some not so decent- people will buy in a "lot" if there is a decent brand amongst none known ones)
Nappy Stacker -I got free with a catologue
Nappy Liners (for real nappies)- Bought one pack and another was free- they sold for a lot more than I bought them
Newborn vests I was given and didn't need
Used baby bottle that we didn't like the shape of and nearly threw away as knew couldn't take back to store
My tip would be don't be greedy with postage, I watched a few similar items to mine for a while before selling and they didn't sell as well because some people are very steep with the postage. Save every single envelope and padded envelope that comes through your door, all bubble wrap from things you buy (if you order freebies yourselves these quite often come in bubble wrap envelopes), think I only pay for sellotape and reusable labels for the envelopes!!!
Hope that helps someone0 -
Hi - just wanted to say thank you all for inspiring me. I spent last night listing a load of stuff on turbolister ready to upload at the weekend.
A few questions though:
Empty perfume bottles - are there particular brands that sell well? I have an empty cool water one - just wondering whether that is worth selling
Empty ink cartridges - again which brand is the most popular?
THanks again0 -
The empty perfume bottles that sell well are the refillable ones like Angel.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0
