Things You Never Thought You Could Sell

LookingAhead wrote:nickm122: THANK YOU!
I just came running over to your thread from mine where I was gabbling on about being really grateful to you for starting this thread as it prompted me to list again.
I tried to sell some stuff privately last year with no success but after reading your thread I decided to try again using EBAY - and it's all sold! Someone has just met my reserve on on of my items (with 22 hours to go) which is £50, which is fantastic, and it may finish off going for more than that as it has had a lot of interest and has 9 'watchers'.
Another little item has sold as well for at least £6.50 (with 22 hours to go & [STRIKE]15 [/STRIKE]'16 watchers'!) so potentially more.
This money will come in SO bloomin' handy, I can't *tell* you how happy I am, it will give me some breathing space.
So thank you again for starting this thread.
Here, let me buy you a drink
You are welcome. Was only started as personal interest but I'm really chuffed that it's helped so many people!!
Heres a beer for you to say well done!![0 -

Nostalgia?
Mid-life crisis, maybe?:rotfl:0 -
Funniest things I've sold are four broken bt freeway radios and (the ladies will know) several of the free plastic highlighting caps you get in DIY hair dye. People buy utter rubbish on ebay, I know because I've been one of them. I collect Hello kitty things, well I used to and ended up buying hello kitty plasters, pencil erasers, tissue box covers... absolute craziness, I cant even remember the last time I used a pencil over a pen so would have no need for them and i think I paid about £4.00 for a pack of five plasters. You can get 4 boxes of plasters for that in asda/tesco and they didnt stick anyway! Oh.. and did I mention the £2.99 postage for those plasters! That seller must be laughing all the way to the bank.0

I used to sell a lot of those rubber highlighting caps on eBay,someone once paid £30 for one-funny though...I noticed that most of the buyers were men-so either men are shy about highlighting their hair at home-OR they were using them for something else, but let's not go there!
I sold a paid of Red or Dead shoes I had bought as factory seconds at my local market for £15 and sold them for £65
It's 10p Listing Day this Thursday-I have been listing all night tonight and the system is kaput-one in 3 listings will not post up-anyone else had this problem??It has been very frustrating as I have had my eBay 'head' on tonight-cleared out the daughter's wardrobe for clothes she no longer wears but have also done a bag for the charity shop too.Fabi x0 -

Hi, wonder if I may ask some advice please. I have a jarful of money off coupons that I am thinking about putting on ebay but I wondered what everyone thought of the 'not for resale' comment on the back. I have a variety of coupons some for money off food items and some for restaurants, should I list them separately or put them together to create more interest? thanks caz0
