I currently have 9 watchers, plus a bid, on some rolls of old expired 35mm camera film. Some expired 10 years ago! So have a root through your stuff, and if you find some, don't throw them - eBay them!

Just a little tip that worked for me tonight. I have a few bits on Gumtree that have had a few views but no interest. Rather than paying to 'bump' the ad, I created a new one, copied all the text over from one of my older ones, and resubmitted, thinking "It's Friday night, a lot of people will be surfing". Within 10 minutes, I had an email on the item I 'reposted', and now have a buyer!

Only really worth doing on Fri/Sat/Sun evening, but definitely worth considering! Also noticed that on Google Plus, Gumtree had an ad to say that if you posted the link to your ad, they would bump it for free. I only noticed it when I googled 'Gumtree', but also worth taking advantage of if they do it again next Friday

Good for you but.....why would someone pay that amount for a charger? Maybe he/she thought he was buying a phone :rotfl:

I had a boxed and unused subwoofer. Sat in our spare room for over a year. Thought that I might as well list it on ebay and got £45 for it. The guy came to collect it 2 hours after the auction ended.

Wasn't expecting it to sell at all.
