Things You Never Thought You Could Sell

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I think you're perhaps right there.
I've quite a few things I need to move on so I think I'll save them as you suggested until next year.
Just noticed tho that it's a free listing weekend so I might give it a go with the odd item and list them for a price for which I'd be happy to accept. If they don't sell then I've not lost anything and I'll store them in vacuum bags til next year.
I hope the OH doesn't notice !!

I thought I'd try selling £6 worth of vouchers I got from Pinecone. I've got 3 days left on the auction and it's already up to £4.95 and £0.99 postage. I thought everyone on this thread would probably appreciate this more than my OH0

I bought some of tesco's version of slimfast meal bars. I ate one but didn't like them so thought i would try ebay to pass them on! I sold 7 bars which was 4 in an unopened box plus 3 loose ones for more than i paid for two whole boxes! They were even on special offer in tesco so i was worried they would email me to say there had been a mistake. Think they made £3 more than i paid. It does make me wonder about the sense of some people. You should always find out the normal price first!
But can't complain! :rotfl:0 -

In case this helps someone... I've just realised that Glamour mag subscribers sometimes get magazines with different covers from what you can buy in the shops. These seem to sell quite well on eBay (people collect them, I guess?)
It's worth putting them on there after you've done reading them.November £10 per day challenge: £265.93/£300

Hi all! My first post yipee!!
This is such a great thread, I've been reading through over the last couple of days and it has given me so many ideas!!
I have 2 brand new dresses on eBay at the moment that I'm selling and I'm so excited to search my room for anything else I have laying about...! Must have a few phone boxes somewhere! Also was thinking about old PC games (Sims 1 & expansions as well as Sims 2). Anyone had any luck with these kind of games?
Thanks everyone! Will keep you all posted as soon as I get some more stuff selling! :T0 -

Hi Rachel. If you click on advanced, next to the search button on ebay and type in the game you're selling then look down a bit and click on completed listings it will come up with those games sold, if any and how much they went for. Also don't forget Amazon if you've no joy on ebay for selling games. Account is really easy to set up and you don't have to take photos to list on there.
Hope that helps.Official DFW Nerd Club Member no:219In the Court Of The Crimson KingI don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.Gary Larson0
