So its free listing at the moment?
  • ebay is quite up and down for me too, but in the random spirit of the thread I recently sold 2 used george foreman grill fat trays! (well cleaned I might add!) My husband said no-one will buy those - but they made nearly £5 each - better than nothing!
I didn't realise the 99p listings were going - I will get going again!

Where did you hear that? I would be very surprised if that happens. Those 99p listing encourage lots of listings
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • My mistake, at the bottom of the selling page there is a offers section. This section says "List an online auction of £0.99 or less for free" with a start and finish date. The finish date is 01/09/11 however I just clicked on the details and apparently this is because you only get 100 of these listing per month so at the beggining of each month the end date moves to the first day of the following month. (I think that made sense :o)

We've not had much of a summer but I've got quite a few of my daughters summer clothes that I've not had time to list as yet.

My question is ....... would you still go ahead and list them or perhaps wait until next year ?

    Any thoughts ?

The art is not in making money,
    but in keeping it!!!
  • Lol - as a seller I can't help but think that they keep adding these "free listing weekends" because they treat their sellers so poorly - so many people seem to give up selling on Ebay b/c their fees keep rising & they don't support sellers like they do buyers..one negative from a free-loading buyer has put me off Ebay selling BIG TIME - no support from them at all - such a shame but I'd rather use another auction site, sell locally or boot fair than use Ebay again...

With children's clothes I def think it is best keeping them to the start of the next season. Next month I am going to list my daughter's outgrown clothes from last autumn / winter.

I listed her summer clothes from last year as BIN the first day we had warm weather this year (really nice day in May I think?) and they were snapped up.

Just an opinion, hope it helps :)
