people buy empty perfume bottles to refil with cheap fake perfume and then sell on... so make sure u never buy a pefume unsealed from ebay :p

that's why no one wants to buy my little perfume bottles from superdrug :(

on another note, why would someone go around ebay bidding on items with absolutely no intention of buying them?

had someone bid and waited a week, sent email, no reply. checked their feedback, they have been bidding on other items and not paying for them either, but ebay have now banned their account.

My daughter bought me a toy lorry with the name of a very well-known shop which sells all items for one coin of the realm. It was put in my xmas stocking as a joke.

I had a clear-out last week and sold it on Ebay for Five and a half coins of the realm and I have received absolutely glowing feedback from a delighted buyer.

I have not entered the name of the shop in case the buyer uses google.

Re the Westwood bag, I'd stick it on now

If you don't use it, it'll turn into cash for you AND clear space in your house which has to be a great thing

I wouldn't worry about holding until she dies - I can't imagine it will go up in much value from what it is now :)

I now have 11 of my 100 things for 99p selling and have hit the £50 mark :jI have about 20 items finishing today so I wonder how close to the £100 mark I can get? :D

Also the tatty wardrobe now has 21 watchers so I'm now pretty sure I won't have to take it to the tip ;)

I think I may be getting a little obsessive though. Last night I dreamed about finding thing I knew would sell for a lot on ebay at the bootsale and the past few days I've been looking at all the stuff in my appartment and pricing it up in my head... If I'm not carefull I'm going to be living in a empty room!! :rotfl:
  • Only began eBaying a month ago and I haven't been able to get my jaw up off the floor at the stuff that sells. Most jaw-dropping so far - souvenir T-shirt from a Rolling Stones concert - £112:exclamati :j

Yikes, that's a serious amount of money for a t-shirt!!!

Yup, and I can't even remember where I got it. Rock memorabilia seems to be a lively market but you have to be prepared to ship abroad. I had three bidders from Malaysia, which is where it eventually went. It was a very old and, apparently, rare shirt. Go figure.
