Can't remember if they have been mentioned already in this thread, but we sold some condoms the other week on Ebay!! There used to be various stands at college/Uni etc that would give them away, and I used to go for regular check ups at the clinic (better safe than sorry and all that!!) and they always used to give a bag full every time!
But we don't use them!! So I checked they were all in date and put them on as a bundle - BNIP of course!! :D
Got about £10 for them, which was also a bargain for whoever bought them compared to popping down to Boots, or the machine in the pub toilets!!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Recently sold 8 used paving slabs for over £16. DH was going to take them to the tip, but put them on ebay on the off chance. Got lots of watchers and bids even though collection only.

Also an old computer desk that no-one on freecycle wanted!:D

Yet some new and sealed dvd's didn't sell, ebay is a real lottery, just luck what people happen to want.
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

They are going on tour again soon so probably a bit of revived interest there!

I just sold a load clothes, with mixed success, but listed enough to make it worthwhile. I did get caught out slightly with the 1st batch, as I hadn't taken into account the rise in postal rates.

Last week I had a clear out of the garden/sheds, and listed a load of the kids larger toys, 99p free listings. I did it more as a way to get rid of them for nothing, than have to make a trip to the tip. I sold a pedal tractor, and they paid us £10 to deliver - £26, and they also bought a pedal go-kart of us that was rusty, for £10.
I sold an inflatable mini sized bouncy castle for £70, and I paid £99 for it about 6 years ago, so I was really chuffed with that.

If you have teenagers, and they wear Drop Dead clothing, I strongly suggest you pinch it and sell it on ebay. I have sold a load of my lad's stuff, and it's gone for silly money.... a cardigan that retails from the Drop Dead online store for £25, sold for £33 + £6.50 postage. A lifeguard on the south coast bought it, and was desperate to get it ASAP!

This thread has really got m inspired to get ebaying again. I've just had a good old tidy up and found just under 100 items that I don't use any more that I'm sure will sell for 99p or more. I'm also starting to think that maybe I could buy some bits at the local bootsale to sell on ebay once I've finished clearing out the flat of sellables :)

I haven't sold things on eBay for years..... For me it just takes time to work out the right wording for everything!

    I must have a go again though....later.

Haha, I was looking at that after you posted it.

Why would anybody want to spend £5 so that someone can write a message of your choice on their face/boobs? Again, why would you want to spend £5 on a facebook or phone message from a bloke in order to make your partner jealous? £5 for someone to sing your name for 5 minutes?

Oh well, it gave me a laugh, without even having to pay £5!
