  • Hi all - the only thing I do is start stuff at 99p 99% of the time. Even for big bundles of barely worn clothes. The P & P is just slightly marked up to cover ebay and paypal fees. I approach it in the mindset of I dont want this stuff, I want rid of it and even if I get 99p for it its 99p I wouldnt have had. Im probably daft but its just clearing stuff out and it makes us a tidy sum month on month. We have loads of stuff!!
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • I've currently got 2 bidders on a 12 disc changer for a car that has been sat in a box in my mums shed for 3 years. I've been honest in the ad, I have no idea if it still works or anything! Wasnt expecting to get any watchers, let alone bidders!!

I have 7 kids, youngest 3, oldest 16 so we have lots of hand-me-downs.

What we have gathered other the years is beds and matresses, the progress is cribs-->toddler beds-->singles-->queens.

As a result I had about 3 or 4 old beds and about 9 or 10 old mattresses in one of the garages. I was adamant I was going to skip them but I put a couple of the beds on the local facebook "sell" page.

I guy came round to buy one of the beds and offered to buy the lot. £400!

Amazing, I just didnt think there was a market for secondhand mattresses!

How about no longer being masochistic?
    How about remembering your divinity?
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
How about not equating death with stopping?

I listed some things last night. I listed a Freddie Mercury figure which I should have waited will weekend coz paying listing fee now but hey ho - it got a bid on already and 6 watchers.

I listed loads of t shirts that I used to wear with Care Bears, My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite etc on them. Listed them all for 98p each and most of them have bids on or being watched at the min! Happy as considering I would have just put them in the charity shop for nothing.

I have a Mark Owen Take That Doll and loads of original TT stuff which I am going to list coz prime time with them touring! I still love TT but the doll is in my mams loft, mint in the box and there is one selling for £12.50 at the min! hey that would be £12.50 off my overdraft!

    Gonna sell everything!!

Can't believe I was going to give them all away too. TBH its always been a case of, I'll sell them, bah too much hassle to list and post things but now I am forcing myself to sell anything. Needs must and everything mounts up.

So chuffed my t shirts are selling.

You all have inspired me and I put up my first 6 99p itlems last night, more things at the weekend.

But I am no optimistic at any actual sales as I have not put up any silly things or smelly shoes. Maybe i'll dig some out lol.
