Things You Never Thought You Could Sell

Did you list that as being worn too?
heheheh no that's BNIP! But I'm sure there must be some people who would be into a well worn shower cap out there!
My yukky converse sold for £2.80 - plus £16.99 shipping to australia!
This has been my first weekend of sales, I'm really chuffed i was hoping to get more than £40 total sales but ended up over £100! and a few things are still to end! REALLY addicted now - got so much stuff to get rid of, yipee!
I also found that the good stuff, that was expensive to start with didn't do much, but the cheaper stuff I would have thrown away was really popular.

I thought it was some weirdo wanting a used one!
I found that with the expensive stuff too, it sold for peanuts.
Freebie things like Lego and Guinness did really well.0 -

Been reading this thread with interest. I have a few things to list next time there's a free listing weekend, including a pair of pink hair straighteners I got free with the NOTW magazine a while back. It says 'Fabulous' on them so it may be pretty obvious they were a freebie. Will this matter - what should I write in the description given I didn't pay for them !? What do other people put in the description for stuff they got for free ??#39 - Save £12k in 20250

Hi all Ebay'ers....
Well I've had 13 items up for sale this weekend and 12 of them sold. Not bad hey?!
Although, I have to say I was really disappointed when I sold a lovely party dress from New Look for 99p! Thought I'd get more
Still, you just can't tell....my best seller was some jeans from Republic!

Well thanks to everyone on here I have made £31 so far, and still more to go. Not a huge amount and I was a bit disappointed in some stuff - but hey if it sells for 99p its better than nothing.
Best seller was a cricket shirt I bought my son in a sale for £4 that didnt fit. Sold that for £10.50. Nothing too strange or unusual in my listings this time around - but I keep looking around the house for things that fit with the title of this thread!0 -

I was given those straighteners a while back, didn't know they were freebies and sold them on ebay recently... I didn't have a original cost mentioned in the listing because I didn't know. Can we pretend that aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, cause I could really use a wish right now...0 -
I sold the little bag that comes with a pair of Oakley glasses.
The glasses broke long ago but the bag remained in the draw.
Got £6.
Found another one in the shed with a pair of broken glasses
Remember the curries vouchers for £5?
Got a couple of USB shavers and sold the first one on ebay last weekend.
Will list the next on on a free listings weekend.Sealed pot challange no: 3390 -

I've sold loads over the last few weeks and have a healthy £460 in my paypal account, everything that hasn't sold after 2 go's is now in a bag for the charity shop. Some stuff BNWT's didn't sell which I find really bizarre but maybe as the above poster said, marking them as used might be a better bet.
Hi there can I suggest that keeping that much in your paypal account may not be a good idea? You do hear stories of people having their accounts hacked, and you have more than the mimumum withdrawal to bring it back into a bank account... chev
Sorry - I should have been more clear, I have a savings account that I also call my "paypal account" which I transfer it into regularly.
Thanks for the tip though
