Well, first time I've sold on ebay for a while and out of the 9 items listed I sold 6:j

Only made about £40, but its a start and better than nowt!:rotfl:

I was surprised when a bnwt mens Nike hoody didnt sell, had quite a few watchers tho, so will have to relist.

One thing was a mens small gillette gift set, never thought that would sell and I got £12.50:j:j

Off to relist items that didnt sell and back to taking some pics for the next lot!

    happy ebaying everyone! xx

  • Hi, I haven't sold on ebay for a long time after getting discouraged, but reading this thread on Friday made me snigger constantly and really got me motivated to sell again, as I really to do anything to help pay off my debts.

Who on earth would have thought - tea bags? old trainers? OLD teabags!

So, I have spent hours putting 40 items on as its free listing weekend by happy coincidence - and guess what's had the most interest?

My old, filthy, falling apart trainers! I only put them on as a laugh after reading all your posts!

Thanks so much for all the tips and inspiration. 6 days to go!

Haha, I might put my old trainers on. I've got loads. I hoard them for some reason.

I put my brothers old games magazines on this weekend and 2 already have bids. 3 others (including a listing for 39 and another for 35 comics) have watchers! I've set it to international because I heard magz attract more attention abroad. I'm quite excited to see if anyhting happens with them

My ds has loads of gaming mags piled up might try and list them next free listing day, do you sell them on their own or in a batch?

In batches of which magazine they are, eg. Games Master and Sonic the Comic and then the random individual ones I sell on their own. I've wrote on the listing each magazines number aswell so they know what they're getting, and in the title I put for example 1998 - 2004 sort of thing.

Just found this thread, what a great read.

I buy loads of seeds every year as I'm a plantaholic. I've taken to repackaging any excess seeds in little zip-lock bags and selling them on eBay. I always have a starting price of 99p and they always sell. A couple of times I've actually sold an assortment of opened and old packets of seeds and got as much as £3.50 for them :D

Some of the seeds of rarer plants that I've grown myself are now selling well, too.

I also bought lots of young or small house plants last autumn and have started to re-sell them now they're bigger. I can get as much as 150% back on them. If you do your homework you can buy unusual or highly sought-after plants as BIN and re-sell at auction for a good mark-up.

Really, I'm only doing as a way to fund my [STRIKE]habit[/STRIKE], um [STRIKE]addiction[/STRIKE] hobby :rotfl:but I'm hoping it will help pay some of our debts too.
