100 free 99p listings per month but they have free listing weekends every now and then and as long as you start the items off at £1 or over it won't eat into your 100 99p listings.
I thought the free listing day entited you to free listings and it didn't affect your monthly free 100 x 99p listings.0 -
Hi everyone,
Well I had a fantastic run on the last zero listings weekend and made £200! I ended up selling an old leather jacket, half used perfume bottle, a broken psp, an old handbag and other bits.
So pleased to hear that it's zero listings weekend again this weekend as I'll be putting more up - think I've got the Ebay bug
Good luck to everyone with your bids :T0 -
Quick question on you experienced Ebayers - I want to sell two car seats (booster seats). What is the best option for postage on this? How will I know how much to charge or should I just suggest pick up only? Has anyone used couriers, if so how much do they cost? Thanks!0

If they are just booster seats, then they may not be all that heavy, or do you mean the ones with the backs as well rather than just the actual bit the child sits on? If it is with the back part as well, then would probably have to be a courier or parcelforce as would be too big in dimensions for normal Royal Mail.
Obviously you would need to pack it well to ensure that it isn't knocked about too much which could damage it and make it dangerous to use.
I've used MyHermes before a few times, and never had any problems, both for sending and receiving parcels. That said though, I have ready a fair few stories of people having problems with them - search for it on these forums as I'm sure that's where I looked them up, but I decided to risk it though. They tend to be the cheapest, and there's usually a discount on for new customers (think I have about 4 accounts with them by now under different email addresses, and probably using my parents address to qualify for 20-25% off your first shipment!), and they are possibly on TopCashBack/Quidco too if I remember correctly.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Should have said as well, on their website, and that of all couriers, you can enter the dimensions or your parcel, its weight, and it will tell you the cost.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700

I've used http://www.shiply.com/ before - enter the details of what you want to send and couriers 'bid' on the job.
It's quite surprising how much quotes can be knocked down by bidding wars!LBM Feb 11 - Joint Debts of around £80,000 _pale_ And nothing significant to show for it :embarasse

Thanks Moneynut for the replyIt's for 2 booster seats without the back so I will look at Hermes but want to use a reliable service. Will look around at other couriers. What kind of packaging is best? I guess I need some boxes - can I use ones from Tescos?
Thanks again!0 -

It doesn't affect your monthly 100 x 99p listings if you set the starting price to over £1. I've accidently relisted some of my 99p ones on free listing days and it's eaten into my 100 x 99p listings.0 -
Twins - could you not still just send them with Royal Mail standard parcels if it is just the seat bits?
They can't be that heavy can they?? Have a look on RM website and see what it says!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700
