Twins - could you not still just send them with Royal Mail standard parcels if it is just the seat bits?
They can't be that heavy can they?? Have a look on RM website and see what it says!

Cover the blades in tissue and wrap the skates in newspaper then use either brown paper or wall paper to cover them again. The art is not in making money, but in keeping it!!!0 -
Or try your luck in case a skate shop nearby has a spare box they would donate to you as people often leave the box when they buy them?!?Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700

Aren't the blades sharp on ice skates? You should be able to get boxes from any shop or supermarket & make up a box.0 -

I didn't think anyone actually used shower caps!!!!!! Mental!:D
I've found that the stuff I didn't think would sell goes with no probs and the stuff I figured would be easy to get rid of tends to go in a charity bag if it doesn't go on the 2nd attempt! :cool:1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

My ebay shop is really slow this week. I Have a business selling fashion handbags and a few weeks ago was brilliant. Now it seems as though I've vanished.
I need something odd to sell to attract buyers attentions.0 -

If it sells for a lot, just do two 'Second Chance Offers' and get rid of the other two without the hassle of having to relist and wait.0 -

That's a good idea.
Re: the blades - they have skate guards on them, so that's not a problem, I just need to scavenge a box that's big enough I guess.
Looking forward to the next free listing weekend; just when I think I have sold everything, another free listing weekend comes up, and manage to find more tat, it's highly therapeutic0 -
Woops, I listed party poppers and got an email saying it had been removed because ebay do not allow fireworks.0
