I am currently selling (they have bids) 3 bags that you get free with washing powder tablets and 3 balls that you get free and you put in the washing machine with gel /liquid. They have also been used. You really can sell anything!

    Thanks!! :D:D:D
  • My friend sold a crisp packet from the 80s for £2!

I also sold a complete set of the free cards from cheestrings a few months back for £7! Amazing :D

Unfortunately I think it's to do with getting music so cheap/free online now so cds and dvds don't do so well on ebay in my limited experience. Might be worth trying one of the trade-in sites or there are sites that sells only cds etc... can't remember the name though!

  • Amazon Marketplace can be good for CDs, the fees are pretty ridiculous though.

I've had more luck with CD's on ebay recently rather than amazon, although mine are my Nan's (god rest her soul) so things like Neil Sedaka.

So, random things I've sold this week are:

Almost empty tube of wrinkle cream
Used callous remover (my mums, and yuck! why would someone buy that)
A tatty england football pencil case
    Twister (from a happy meal)
    A very old travel iron
    My dad's old glasses case
    Some used slipper socks

There's loads more, but the rest are quite everyday things like CD's, books, cosmetics.
  • Ugh, just sold a set of 10 Goosebumps books. After postage, ebay & paypal fees, I made 12p. Just not worth the effort. Gonna root through my pile of stuff to sell now, and anything that I don't think will make me a good sum is going down the charity shop.

sold a badge... for 10 whole pence... seriously :/ sending it today - postage actually costs more than the badge - why would you buy it? plus it was a free badge ;)

  • Try C-Ex stores for CDs & DVDs & old computer games etc. They can give 30p-£3! I had more from them than I did from ebay profit I think online they are webuy.com - hope this tip helps!

I have also sold on ebay: old theatre programme from 1986, a pile of D&D type mags from 80's, old appliance leaflets (esp. Kenwood mixer) as they tend to get lost.
