  • If I list on Saturday for the free listings, what day would be best to end it on?

eBay only allows 3, 5, 7 and 10 day auctions, so list on the Sunday evening instead, and put it for 7 days to finish on the following Sunday evening.

Ok I've made a good start, I've got about 20 or so clothing items and 4 bags and a Kipling wallet. Some liz Earle stuff and other make up bits and bobs. Going to look at my perfume bottles and see what's there.

Having read the crazy stuff that people might buy, I may just list our broken router. And old sky box!

Just a question about clothes, I guess it makes more sense to iron them first as I would assume I would get more bids, or does it really matter lol (I'm just trying to avoid all that ironing as I hate it!)

Well I would but I don't have an ebay account so it would be in my mum's account. I'm guessing I'd need an account to do the scheduled thing?

You could schedule on your Mum's account.

If the clothes aren't good brands you make get more if you list in bundles, even if it's just a top & skirt that look good together. Cheap clothes to buy new once you've factored in p&p can work out pricey to buy on ebay.
If I iron it's a real light press so that things look good in the pictures, as I'm sure that most people would wash it before wearing anyway. If it's something that's been in the cupboard for a while I give it a light machine wash, shake well, hang out to dry & it's usually fine for the pictures.

Thanks I will iron lightly tomorrow then. Been on another rampage, found some make up I've never used, and an empty perfume bottle. Also my old ghd,s that need a new cable, which I have but never bothered to put on them, I will include the cable in the auction. Getting into this now, gonna see what else I can find before the weekend.

I'll look and see if any of the clothes can go in bundles, I'm sure some can.
