desperate need of some funds and Ive got loads and loads of stuff to sell. So my question is, what is the best day to start a listing on and the best times???
Just want to get some other opinions on this. thanks
you want to list the item on a thursday evening if you can, and list for 10days.
this way you cover 2 weekends (more people check at W/E) and if your really on the ball, you can get them posted first thing monday morning if you get paid that evening. and you get good feedback for quick delivery too:T

Personally I don't bother worrying what day I post things on although now that I've had to move my ebay stuff into storage I'm trialling a new way of doing it. Uploading 25 things every Tuesday so that they end on a friday which gives me enough time over the weekend to go and pick the items up/wrap them and then post them on the monday.
I have heard that it's a bad idea for listings to finish on a saturday evening as most people are out.0 -
Sunday tends to be the best day, although these days with so many people having access to Ebay on their mobiles, if there is something someone reeeeeeealy wants, they can bid while out and about!
Empty perfume bottles are often used for show homes to dress a dresser in a bedroom. I work in a Boots shop and have had lots of people come in and ask for our empty tester bottles for that reason.
Although before everyone thinks Oooh I'll go into Boots and ask for their empty bottles for that, but actually stick them on Ebay - we aren't allowed to give them away!
I would imagine in case people fill them with really cheap perfume and try to bring them back for a refund.
Of course that may well be another reason people buy them on Ebay!!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Another vote for Thursday evening listings over 10 days. eBay staff recommend this themselves as the ideal period for listing, running over two weekends and ending SundayNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

well there's another 10 things added - more to do tomorrow - turned my spare room upside down looking for tat - this time it includes: babydoll underwear - top part only!!
(really don't care who see's it!!) key ring, necklace, 4 or so handbags, running shorts that I have never worn but too fat for!! the list goes on... tomorrow I'll add a suck-you-in strap top thing, Hello Kitty PJ's and T shirt, more t shirts that I never wear, engagement ring from stupid self centered ex... the list continues!!
