Bronzing pearls - You're right, at £3.33 brochure price they'll cost us £2.50 anyway if we're getting 25% discount. I'm still going to order some in and hold onto them for a while like I usually do with MMs and other stock, but if anyone buys from C17 I may as well order them again in the normal way. They're still costing me £2.50, but I'm getting £3.33 to count towards my award sales total.
Would anyone's customers buy them at £9 anyway? :cool:I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Hello, hello,
Just to say I have not given up lol even though I have to stay in my postal area.
My streets were rubbish, I delivered 80 books, lost over 60 and had 1, literally 1 order out of all of them but then got 3 nice orders in my daughter's nursery and a few from friends which gave me just over £100.
I still delivered all the books I got back around two other streets and am hoping to collect on Tuesday before I put my order in on Wednesday. Wish I could make it to £148...
Worked all day today and had a very long, stressful weekend so I'm going to chill out tomorrow finally:-)
Have a good weekend everyone0 -
try your houses a couple of times and if no one is in put a little note through the door - mine say "hi, i called today to pick up the current avon catalogue which left for you a couple of days ago. Please leave it outside the door and i'll be back tomorrow for it. Thanks, Rachel" Very effective.
I also have a 3 strikes policy with my books - basically i will leave books for a house and if i haven't had a single one back in 3 consecutive campaigns i will cross them off my list for future.Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110 -

I was thinking more like £5 for customers instead of £9... but now I think I would rather get them throughC17 and get the award sales to go with. Have to make it worth my while doing this after all. Commission isn't massive by the time you take your costs into account.Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Just need to have a little bit of a rant- I had two customers who ordered from m last campaign (which was my first campaign) and I went to collect their books today and they have both ticked the box to say they don't want any more books. Can't help feeling like I've done something wrong but I don't know what.0

That's a strange one. If you were feeling brave you could contact them and ask if there were any probs with their last order which you'd be happy to replace or refund. You've got nothing to lose.
I went to deliver a nice big order to a good customer on friday and she said she can't take it as she's just lost her job. So it all has to go back & I've lost a good customer."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -
Hi All, havn't been on in ages! Avon's been on the back-burner for a while for my other job (funny how ive put in so much less effort but hasn't really changed my sales - I must waste so much time usually!)
Anyway - just wonder if I have filled out two sheets of returns do they need to be in two seperate boxes? Thanks! Hope you're all well.0 -

If you can fit all the items into 1 box you can put them in together. I did this once and one of the sheets was credited and the other got re-charged a while later. However, I just got another re-charge recently and it was for all but 2 items that were all on one sheet and in one box so... It can happen no matter how you box things up. If they're all going in one box, as long as you put the (same) barcode number on each sheet that should avoid problems if you get a re-charge.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. I wonder whether they've read the tick-box note. Do they think they're saying they don't want anything this time, or would like to skip the next book? You can write a very clear note but not everyone will read it the way you intended. I've had someone read a note saying "Thank you for your order. I'll deliver it on ..." as "I've called deliver your order but you weren't in. I'll try again on..." When I was doing the first delivery attempt she thought I'd already tried once.
Some customers will think they have to order every time, and at once every 3 weeks that can be too often. You can drop books less often, or they're free to see every book but not order every time. Speaking in person will clear things up.If there are any problems remember to offer full refunds and remind them this is a vastly more generous returns policy than you'd get on the high street or at a department store.

There could be all sorts of explanations that aren't related to you.
For example perhaps the main income earner has lost their job and they need to cut back on non-essentials.
As a customer I don't think I'd like being hassled to explain myself but I probably would have left an explanation if it was a change of circumstances.0
