Thank you - I have never used connects and my AM skipped a lot of things in the meeting, she kept jumping from topic to topic and trying to do several things at the same time - that's why I said it was rather chaotic and not the way I like to work.
Very true - I had no idea that I would get such a bad load of streets. Well, down to experience.
Ok, will find an email and contact them direct.
Many thanks again0 -
Just picked up my last lot of books, got about £111 worth of orders, which I'm happy with
Plus someone who said she'd email me an order because she hadn't had time to fill it out yet.

Well done Smoosh!
Dear me - have just had a phonecall from the AM for the area I actually want to be in - she said she wants to help but it's rather impossible as she can only sign up people who have as their home address in that area and she needs to check with ID. It seems there is absolutely no flexibility.
She advised I call Avon direct which means I'll have to go to the offcie tomorrow as I don't want to be calling 03 number from my mobile - correct me if I am wrong but this must be a premium number?
I am quite disappointed - I don't want to work in the area allocated.
So far not even one order from here.
Only £53 from my friends and I should get some orders at my workplace as ppl said they woould order.
I don't want to give up but it's not looking good:mad:0 -

No its treated the same as a 01/02 geographical number .03 numbers must (by law) cost the same as calls to landlines by all operators (including inclusion in any inclusive minutes).;)0 -
i thought 03 was a freephone number!Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

That's a relief - thank you!

Yes, that's what this AM suggested but the whole point of me doing Avon is so that I can up my hours to 16 a week so that I don't lose my tax credits. I was in a job that was 16hrs a week exactly - now coming to an end next week and the new contract is for 7.5hrs so need to find another 9.5 in a week.
Even if I don't earn a lot I can at least retain tax credits which pay for my daugther's nursery while I'm writing up my docotral thesis.
Gosh so much to consider!0 -
