I may only be a rep who's done Avon for a year, but as far as I know getting streets allocated in a different area from the one you're in is impossible. This is why I can't help but think your ASM's just fobbing you off. She'll have hundreds of reps in her downline (don't know if that includes SL teams as well or not) and some ASMs handle their workload better than others.

Could any SLs on here confirm whether they've been able to gets streets allocated in another area? I don't want to be giving out wrong advice, I've just never heard of it happening.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

If you let us know where you are located, we can probably point you towards someone who can help you! If there isn't anyone here who knows an Sales Leader / Area Manager near you then we can look it up. Failing this someone with a better idea will be along shortly!

Thanks for that. I am based in Derby so if any SL's can help I'd be grateful

I think a few pages back Brown Owl (was that the username? very helpful!) posted to say that it is almost impossible as the AM would need to ask the AM of the other area for some streets. Although why another AM would want togive you THEIR streets for you to make money would be the problem. They simply wouldn't want to when they have their own reps to provide streets to.

I think that was me :D , which is why I'd like a SL to confirm if it's ever been done.

An ASM will only be able to allocate territory within her own area. A SL may be able to do so anywhere.

Hello ladies, thank you for the info. I accepted she won't give me the streets from another area and that's why wanted to follow advice of cancelling this contract and signing up with another area. I did send a request to become a rep in my preffered area on Friday and never had any phonecall.

The lady who signed me up may be of course very busy but my contact so far with her did not give me a good impression and the area is not good for me either. I really should have thought about it when I was signing up.

Now I could just cancel and wait petiently for another SL or AM to contact me but I have some orders ready and these are backorders from campain 15 as my AM gave me previous campain brochures (cos she run out of current one!) and I collected some orders from them (friends - no order from any of the streets) and I don't want to let them down.

I have 6 days to put in an order.

And I re-applied to Avon with another address and email on Friday and nothing so far. That's why I wanted to see if any of you can track down SL or ML in the area I want to go into.

You weren't to know how things work when it comes to areas. I had no idea the country was split up like it is. Your ASM could have handled this much better - I don't know why she made it sound as if she was sorting out streets in another area. It sounds like she just wasn't reading your texts/e-mails or listening to what your were asking for.
