    Need a little advice please.

One of my customers ordered the Anew firm favourites set but doesn't want the Thermalift stuff as she's (to paraphrase) "Not seen it before so g00gled it and read awful reviews on it. Peoples faces swelling up and really bad reactions to it and with having very sensitive skin [she] doesn't want to risk it" so is there anything I can do for her as "its a bit expensive for just the other two products which [she] loves"? I said to leave it with me as I wasn't sure and I'd get back to her. I'm not sure what to do. Should I say she needs to return the whole thing if she doesn't want it, give her a partial refund if she gives me the thermalift, offer her a discount on a purchase of her normal products/gift set or something else?
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

If I'm looking at the right one...
"Our most popular anti-ageing skincare products, in one fabulous gift. Contains: Ultimate 7S Day Cream, Thermafirm Face Lifting Cream in trial size and a full size Clinical Eye Lift Pro. In a card gift box."

From what I can tell she still has a bargain even though it has the one she doesn't like.... the 7s and thermalift are both trial size... but the eye lift pro is full size... to buy it full size on its own (inC17 ) is £13 normally £19! So she's still saving on just that one product that she does like! So effectively she's buying that cheap and still getting a trial size of another she likes thrown in for free, and then a free trial size of one she doesn't. Doesn't seem such a bummer to me considering the saving she is still making.... There is no way you could offer her a discount to match and not end up severely out of pocket...
You could offer to swap that product out for something you have in your stash but with it being a trial size I don't know what you'd swap it for or what you would do with it after other than give it away to someone... I always feel really iffy about giving the samples of anew products :/ ...

The only other thing I can think of is would your customer be interested in the 7s gift set? Ultimate 7S Day Cream 15ml, Night Cream 15ml, Eye System and Cream Cleanser 50ml.
I don't know how old your customer is or if she would be put off by the big 50+ bit in the book (my mums just turned 50 and I know she would refuse to buy it because it says that lol). But does have the 7S day cream... doesnt have the eye lift pro though... which as its one of the ones she likes and is full size is what makes the other gift set such a good deal for her...

I'd probably tell her shes got a great deal anyway with the savings on the eye one and the other one she likes (which ml wise works out at about £6 for the trial size... so based on C17 prices she's saving £9 even if we totally ignore the one she does like, it's £15 savings based on full price eye stuff) and explain to her theres noway I could match the prices, but if shes still not happy maybe offer her 10% off next order as good will or something :/...
It's tricky with it effectively being something she's not paying for that she doesn't like

I agree with Pixtotts - the Firm Faves set is a great deal at £10. The cheapest I've seen the Eye Lift on its own for is £10 and that only happens a few times a year. In the summer they've done it for £10 with a pair of sunglasses or something else (but not other Anew skincare as far as I can remember).
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
  • Hiya I have been trying to search through the thread to find the answer to this but I can't see it being asked before..

How do I return the money maker (luxe perfume) ? haven't sold any :-(

Luxe returns - we have to ring them I'm afraid. I hope that was a technical error and not a ploy to make reps hang onto them.

  • Thanks, I found the jewellery rolls on the credits bit and thought the perfume should be there aswell! Is that what I would normally do, go onto the credits bit?

Oh I hope not :/ fingers crossed people order them! Don't get mine in till end of this week (which I just realised is tomorrow.... lol!). But I only got 3 and my Mums claimed one already. I'm half tempted to keep them anyway if I don't sell them as future birthday/Christmas pressies for mum. Wouldn't be any storage issues with sealed perfume would there?

Well my meeting went ok today and think I have finally sorted out my territory issue and have managed to bag some extra houses too :D Decided im definitely going to go for TSL but will start maybe in January as too much to sort out before xmas with little ones birthday, possible tonsillectomy op for my little one too and xmas to organise and just over 1 month to get it all done in.
Just the Avon connects to still sort out. Yes still not done and we are now at just over 4 months in.

Ive never tried the money makers yet so kinow very little about them sorry :(

Getting quite disappointed that certain customers are proving quite difficult with getting items delivered to them even after i have either text, emailed etc them and some have failed to be there after organising a delivery time too. I don't like to send out threats of sending back their items but dont want to have outstanding payments with Avon and I guess if they dont contact me by nxt Friday (when i need to place my nxt order) I will just be forced to process credits and send the items back. Does anyone have same issues and any other ways i can deal with this. I give them notice on their order when delivery is, i call them the wk before to organise a date for delivery and then chase them up when they fail to contact me or show up at agreed time.:(

hoping this might help you Pips mum. the 4 digit code i think you may be on about is on a tear off strip on the back of your invoices. I use any i can find as dont seem to get them with each invoice. tear off one of the barcodes and use the last 4 digits at the end which are after your account number.
Think thats what you need. Hope that helps
