I used the SSS tissue oil while I was pregnant and was fine with it, obviously depends on people's skin type whether it will suit them or not, but there's certainly nothing bad in it. Hopefully she's not expecting miracles though it didn't stop me getting stretch marks but I did get nice soft skin even if it was stripey :rotfl:

Recommend a friend - I have picked up a few customers this way which have become regular customers. Some of your customers might not realise that you can take on customers who aren't on your patch so letting them know that you're happy to take on new customers in x area is always a good idea as then if they hear one of their friends etc complaining about their avon rep (or lack of), then your customer will think of you. I picked up a customer at a local hairdressers/beauty place when one of my customers was having her nails done mentioned she needed to get some more cash out to pay for her avon that night, the lady doing her nails proceeded to say how rubbish her Avon rep was, so my customer told her how lovely I was and so I gained her custom :D

lozza1985she is cute!! I hadn't realised she was that early, you were lucky to escape the hospital so quick! My lil sis was 6weeks early and they had wanted my mum to stay there till her due date :| my mum refused to be in hospital for her birthday or leave my sister there so they let them both go after 5 days.

Even though midwives and doctors probably wouldn't agree, I personally think that I must 'cook' babies quicker than others as Mackenzie was doing great whereas other babies on the ward who were full term/overdue were struggling with one thing or another.

Avon deliveries this week, when confirming with customers the day/time I've said we aren't doing any other delivery slots if they need a different day they'll have to collect - already had a couple of customers offer to collect even though they'll be in on the night we deliver. Feels a bit cheeky - but I remind myself I'm on my maternity leave, only gave birth just over a fortnight ago and the time with Dh & baby is precious so I'm making the most of it. Plus it'll be a military operation trying to get out of the house for a set time so the fewer orders we need to take the better :p

Cheers I will let her know. I used bio oil during the entire pregnancy and still got stretch marks myself so think that unless your skin is used to stretching alot or have an increadibly small bump you will get marks :(

Bizarrely I didn't get any stretch marks on my bump, but lots on my hips and some on my bum even though my bum stayed the same size lol.

Quick question - trying to figure out when the last christmas brochure is. I am going onto campaign 18 this Saturday and know that is christmas as I have the brochures here already but have a just over a wk before my delivery is due and the C1 brochures are here and too impatient to find out if there is another xmas edition or if C1 is new year only even though i get the delivery for C1 on 13th December. I am on mailplan 4 just managed to figure that one out (im learning) :) ty x

C1 has had a party-themed cover rather than a Christmassey one for at least the past few years. It's definitely a pre-Christmas one, though, because they have a section called "last minute gifts" and all the gifts sets are still full price

C2 is the January sales-style book.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I found C1 online somewhere and to me seemed focused at that week between Christmas and New year, for the gifts for people you forgot (we all do it...) and party stuff for NYE. Think they go for party theme because of the late delivery dates and the things being out of stock problems. Especially as you will notice some of the gifty things even in C18 suddenly say to allow 6 weeks for delivery !! :| EEK!
Then yeah as I,Geek said C2 is the January sales :)
    I'm mailplan N (or M... I think it was N...:S) so I don't get my C1 delivery till 20th Dec.

lozza1985 haha I like that theory that you just cook em quicker lol. My mums always complained that neither of us were normal when we were born she didn't get to hold either of us we were both whisked away into incubators.
Your customers are so nice, hope that your deliveries all go to plan :)

I think I get too excited about Avon orders coming... I love getting post. It's 3 boxes this time even though I ordered no books! :D
It is however time to wait and see if my ASM brings me any C1 books... :/ I'm going to send her an email about territory as well later, it's so bad I had someone asking me on Connects if I had been in contact with her yet, and to have to say well no she's utterly rubbish at replying feels so mean but this other lady has been trying to get in contact with her for a week now too!

I'm on mailplan C and get my C1 delivery on the 11th Dec. As usual I'll be 'skipping' C2 & C3 for my customers and putting them straight onto C4 in the new year. This works for me as this year my C2 order is due in on the 19th Dec but won't be delivered until 30th Dec. C3 order is due 9th Jan and delivered 15th Jan. So instead I'll order C4 books in C2 as normal and just put them out after the 10th Jan. This means the majority of my customers have had the chance to get the kids back to school, decorations away and are now ready to sit down with a cuppa and breathe :rotfl::rotfl:

I use C2 to order a years worth of toiletries for us at the sale prices & order my C4 books, then C3 is restocking my bags, calling cards etc. Means that in theory all my supplies are bought in one go and it makes it easier for me to keep up with my accounts.

Well C17 is due in today and I've broken the £400 customer order mark for the first time since last November :D DD also wants to order a few things for her friends birthday, the idea being that she can choose from what arrives and if anything is out of stock then there are alternatives ;):rotfl: Anything she doesn't use WILL be going back. She's also written a personal order of £49 which she is not getting all of and we have some christmas shopping that needs to be done for her step-mum-to-be's christmas gift. ;) I have a feeling this order is going to be £500+ at book price without any brochures at this rate! :o:o
