Well done. Yes, if you want territory then ask for some. Not all reps do want to do territory but it's a good way to increase your sales/earnings.

Thanks :D I'm chuffed I thought I'd be able to manage MOV most months but HOV I never thought I'd manage to get to, maybe with the Christmas brochures but not any other time but yay :D
Yeah I wasn't going to ... but now I'm thinking it could be a good idea. Think I'll send my ASM a email next week asking about it, might get prompt her to get my free books to me too ;)

I'm confused. Last campaign I had a new customer asking if I could supply some samples of Anew anti-wrinkle stuff so I ordered sample packs of "Clinical PRO Line Corrector Treatment with A-F33" and "Anew Clinical Pro Wrinkle Serum". I received the A-F33 no problem and was sent "Anew Clinical Pro Serum", now the customer is saying she can't find the Pro Serum one in the book (Campaign 17) and I don't have any more of the samples left to look at the picture on it to work out which one it is. All the different anew products (except the 'age' specific ones) confuse me so can someone please tell me which product she is talking about :o Is it under a different name, have they changed packaging or discontinued it? Make-up, shampoos, hair colours, perfume, household stuff I have no problem with, but the Anew range is just gobble-de-dook to me :o:o

Could be wrong but.... think the Pro-Wrinkle Serum was the predecessor to A-F33. It's a more gentle formula. If you still have a First Look C10 to hand it was in clearance p. 48 Seem to recall we've been offered it as part of our online offers since but, sorry, unless you can find it in a customer clearance book you'll have to tell your customer it's been discontinued.

HTH.

Good for you. Little point (sorry but I haven't been on here for a while) - all territory is now allocated by your upliner so if you signed up with a Sales Leader it's now that person you need to ask rather than your ASM.

• 2nd order submitted! :) So far I have 12 customers in total (6 of whom ordered this time) - a little bit less than my first order but made up the order by ordering Christmas presents and things I needed! Hoping that the next order will be a bit more seeing as though its nearly Crimbo!

Another question (I know, its not like me!) has anyone ever ordered a load of demo products and showed them to their customers? I have only been invited into one of my customers houses and she was an elderly lady and I didn't want to seem like I was pushing products onto her! I just would love to show off some of the make up and maybe do make overs - I would do an Avon party but I don't know enough people! (Billy No Mates!) :S

Why not put flyers in your books offering to do a 'Get Together'/party and offering a Hostess Gift and/or commission on sales of orders taken? Lots of people are now looking for ways to supplement the imminent cost of Christmas so let people know you offer the facility and hopefully you'll get a few takers.

Good luck!

Me again... a friends mum is looking for a lipstick to replace one which has been discontinued and even the replacement has been discontinued too! lol.
original was iced coffee, which we think was replaced by - canela nectar... (her mum suggested this, and my googling has come up with the same suggestion but all seem to be American sites so not so sure if its the same here...)
Any ideas of anything similar available now? :/
Searching connects has been super useful as usually .. found someone else looking for the same and getting not very far too... just being told to google it :|

If you can still order from C16 it might be worth you trying 'latte' p41 in FL C18 clearance?

Tell your customer about the 90 day no quibble guarantee and encourage her to choose 2-3 colours she'd like to try; re-assure her that whilst she will need to pay for them you'll gladly take any back for refund that she doesn't want to keep (good idea to offer to do this by the time you collect your next book back in so you can return any unwanted items before you need to pay your invoice). Also point out that it adds depth/interest if you use more than one lipstick at a time so with 2 or 3 you can mix/match to build up a whole spectrum of colours i.e. applying a darker shade first and then a lighter shade on the bottom lip only will give the appearance of fuller-looking lips. ;)

Hi guys, i've been finding it slower than last year too. Will be around £200 short for PC this year which is a shame as I only made it for the first time last year.

Kept meaning to recanvass but time runs away with me and I haven't got around to it yet.

As for non regular customers, I have one from april 2010 who placed her second order last month! Also another from early 2011 who has only ever ordered once. Neither of these are cost effective but I put them on a back brochure and the houses are very close to my regulars.

• Whats going on at Avon ? peeps.

First they close Avon Eire suddenly earlier this year. Now Avon France
see: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-24522756

Hope UK is ok. !!!

Fingers crossed we'll be OK here in the UK - the cuts here in certain areas are very noticable though but, hopefully, that's to all our good.

Apparently the system for reps in France is very different to the UK; here we're all self-employed but in France I believe they're classed as "semi self-employed" i.e. so they could click into their version of a National Health Service. Equally, if anyone's ever seen an Avon book in 'Euroland' you'll be really surprised at the prices. Here sales are difficult but try selling Avon fragrances at €30/50!! (£25/40)

• Why is the 'buy more, save more' on brochures still not working? I emailed Avon and they said they were trying to sort it out! I need 8 packs of C17! Has anyone managed to buy the brochures at the discounted price?

Claire x

It's a glitch on 'view sub-total'; you should be charged correctly (but check your invoice to make sure).

Update ....... Now just need to sort out connects and they will have one happy rep.

One of my TSLs last year had a problem getting onto AC for some reason - did take a few months. A 'few' glitches on the site at the moment due to the installation of DTMA (our territory mapping application). Keep at Avon and as already suggested by others it may be worth 'tagging' yourself as a Trainee Sales Leader (under 'Opportunities' on your home page) as unless you can access AC you won't have access to your PRP/Personal Recruiting Page. May help....

As a rep the no. to call is Fastrack 0333 2345000
As a TSL you can call the SL Helpline 0333 2344000
