  • Hi guys, i've been finding it slower than last year too. Will be around £200 short for PC this year which is a shame as I only made it for the first time last year.

Kept meaning to recanvass but time runs away with me and I haven't got around to it yet.

As for non regular customers, I have one from april 2010 who placed her second order last month! Also another from early 2011 who has only ever ordered once. Neither of these are cost effective but I put them on a back brochure and the houses are very close to my regulars.

Applaud your tenacity; got to say I now have quite a few customers, who treat me more like social services i.e. they just want a bit of company....

As for PC, you on on an early Mail Plan? Don't miss it for £200! Ask your upliner for some tips or do a party or something..... Do the maths and get your timing right. ;)

Could be wrong but.... think the Pro-Wrinkle Serum was the predecessor to A-F33. It's a more gentle formula. If you still have a First Look C10 to hand it was in clearance p. 48 Seem to recall we've been offered it as part of our online offers since but, sorry, unless you can find it in a customer clearance book you'll have to tell your customer it's been discontinued.

    HTH.

Thanks for that. Why on earth do they continue to sell samples of items they no longer stock? I just thought they were doing their normal trick of not putting something in the brochure again. Guess I'll have to tell the customer that I made an error. :o

How funny is this. Finally got the call from my ASM, actually got 2 calls from her (she clearly forgot that she spoke to me the day before too as she discussed the same things like i had not spoken to her at all....hmmmmmm) and i kinda got the info i needed about my territory earnings but now I can't make any ammendments to my territory with my ASM I have to now go back to my SL (feel like im going around the houses here lol) Well at least I finally got through to her which is good just got to figure out what I want to do with my territory (drop a road and take up another or keep trying to work with the road)

I have 2 roads, 1 i now have 12 customers on (pretty happy with this road) and the other just 3. The road with just 3 i have been working for 5 campaigns now and find it hard work because i rarely get many brochures back, the ones i do get never have ticks saying they want or dont want avon in future and they are all flats so i can only get into them before 12pm during the week. Most seem to be elderly residents and have unticked a massive portion of addresses already as they say they dont want it and the rest seem to be rather shabby run down flats, overgrown gardens and just trying to figure out how much point there is to continue to try and canvass this road. How long would you all try for?
What I dont want to do is change my road but have to give up my 3 customers on there as would like to continue with them as they are all brilliant customers. would i have to give them up or could i sneakily say they are f&f and continue to serve them.
My road has finally come back up on the territory list as the previous rep has finally given it up after not doing it for months now (not seen her post a brochure since March really) and I wanted to try and take it on but I think they will make me give up a road in order to take this one on.
Opinions please if you understood any of the babble above lol.

Also another plus I have had calls about my Avon connects account and they still say its been activated when it hasn't but they are calling me regularly now with updates so looks like they are finally doing something so its a big start :D
  • You should be able to keep existing customers if you give the street up, you just can't recanvass it. The previous rep to cover my street still has a couple of customers he just doesn't canvass and I still picked up some new customers

Glad your finally getting somewhere ajs2013 :D
I agree you should be able to keep your existing customers.

weird question... is there always two product numbers for order forms?
I saw suggestions around connects for the Christmas stuff to be on a different code... well I'm seeing 2 codes... one which is the same as First Look - 87197 but then also 87205 I really want Christmas ones, don't want to go with the code I know is right to miss out on Christmas *sniff* lol. :/ x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

I always thought the 2 codes for order forms were: 1 for the free ones (2 for reps and 4 for PC reps), and 1 for any extra on top. They're shown year-round so it's not Christmas related.

They'll send Christmas ones out automatically at this time of year (unless they're low on stock for some reason).

I wouldn't worry about them effecting your sales. I've had some whopping orders this campaign and in the last one (clearly Christmas orders) that were written on the plain order forms. I've also used Christmas ones in the New Year when I didn't have any plain ones.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Definitely just use the regular code think it ends in 205 I ordered as normal and got the red christmas forms for campaign 17 but have just noticed they are different and said christmas on them (noticed they were red but other than that assumed they had just changed colour) shows how much i pay attention. Anyways mine came automatically so yours should too. I put the regular blue order forms in with my campaign 17 brochures and still got a good amount of orders through so i would not worry about at all if you dont get them for any reason.

I have not had huge response from this incentive I generally just ask anyone new I take on to recommend me to their neighbours, friends and family and work colleagues sometimes i will get an extra order from that. I have found running periodic promotions and incentives like money off for orders over a certain amount or what lozza does which is a free gift for every 6 orders has generated some more business and advertising anywhere i can find to. Most the reps local to me dont seem to advertise alot which is good for me.
Just trying to make up a poster for the local swimming pool currently and see if I can get some business in that way.
This is only my personal experience (very short experience almost 4 months) could change as i get more established. I say anything is worth a try, you wont be loosing anything by offering it
