ajs2013 Thats great thankyou, pretty much exactly what I wanted to know :D
The small ones are quite small quite few of my friends just order a couple nail varnishes or make up items so they are perfect for those. I think I prefer the idea of the paper bags too a bit more eco friendly.
Think I've decided 1 lot of large plastic bags for when lil sis friends have to carry the stuff round college all day, and some large paper bags for the bigger stuffs :)
Glad to hear you've heard from your ASM its a step in the right direction :D x

nicki sorry to hear things aren't going well

Currently wondering how many campaigns I can talk myself out of ordering the Sticky notes...I have a post it addiction! and Avon is feeding it its making them feel useful, any additional info gets stuck to the front of my brochures on post-its. I'm sorted for next couple though I have reindeer and snowman post-its ready and waiting :D! lol

Me again... a friends mum is looking for a lipstick to replace one which has been discontinued and even the replacement has been discontinued too! lol.
original was iced coffee, which we think was replaced by - canela nectar... (her mum suggested this, and my googling has come up with the same suggestion but all seem to be American sites so not so sure if its the same here...)
Any ideas of anything similar available now? :/
Searching connects has been super useful as usually .. found someone else looking for the same and getting not very far too... just being told to google it :|

Sorry to hear it's not going well Nicki. I've had a slump over the summer, lost customers because they just lost interest, ditched a couple of difficult customers, did one collection from my 3 "zones" that just scraped MOV in the end back in C15, and put a number on the number of timewasters (people who said they were mad-keen and saw books for months on end and never ordered). The timewaster number was getting pretty close to the number of customers I have, which was depressing. I have to accept that customers will fall away and not every promise of interest will turn into an order. I also felt like the novelty was wearing off with long-term customers. That's why re-canvassing's so important for all of us - it keeps us topped up with fresh interest.

I have a large number of 'time wasters', ones who never gave the book back have been dropped after 10 campaigns. Then I have a couple who never seem to order but do look through the book & leave it out for me so I don't want to drop them as I'm hoping something will catch their eye and they'll order eventually.

Sorry if I've misunderstood this bit: "This campaign I've lost another 4 customers although some of those are ones I picked up last campaign so obviously they didn't read the note with the last book which said "only leave out if you want more"."

Were those 4 people all new customers last campaign, or do you mean you picked up their brochures and took that to mean they wanted you to carry on calling? Don't get me wrong, I drop customers who haven't ordered for ages and aren't spending enough to justify brochure costs and my time - but those ones who left their books out sounded like they wanted you to keep going, but they just happened not to order this time.

I include a newsletter with brochure amendments etc on and as part of it I have a tick box for them to mark if they want me to stop calling. 4 people this time round have ticked that box, 1 of which my daughter is not happy about as that elderly couple always invited us in so we got warmed up when the weather was wet/cold.

I'm confused. Last campaign I had a new customer asking if I could supply some samples of Anew anti-wrinkle stuff so I ordered sample packs of "Clinical PRO Line Corrector Treatment with A-F33" and "Anew Clinical Pro Wrinkle Serum". I received the A-F33 no problem and was sent "Anew Clinical Pro Serum", now the customer is saying she can't find the Pro Serum one in the book (Campaign 17) and I don't have any more of the samples left to look at the picture on it to work out which one it is. All the different anew products (except the 'age' specific ones) confuse me so can someone please tell me which product she is talking about :o Is it under a different name, have they changed packaging or discontinued it? Make-up, shampoos, hair colours, perfume, household stuff I have no problem with, but the Anew range is just gobble-de-dook to me :o:o

Guess what !!! No suprises in still NO contact from Avon from my ASM, GSM or anyone trying to do anything on my Avon connects account.

Last update from Avon - they are sending request no. ??? cant remember been waiting a month now to the ASM and GSM to contact me again and I will have to wait a further 48hrs for contact grrrrrr !!!!!
My Avon connects issue is now being bypassed the GSC department and is being passed to "a man who deals directly with connects" so im praying praying praying within 24hrs it will actually be dealt with as this is just over 3 months now. Frustrated and angry does not begin to cover what I feel right now.

I get so cross when I see things like this, ASM's only need you for the first campaign, and isn't that obvious? this happened to me too, and then I clicked the Sales Leader button, maybe you should apply to be a sales leader, then you'll see how fast she gets in touch!!!! GRRR!!!!!!!

It really sucks. Kind of thinking about asking for a territory, should probably do that sooner rather than later might have something by next Christmas :P

but anyway... despite my problems getting books for C16 I think I'm going reach HOV :o! :j

• Just got another question about sending the demo items back - I bought the make up palette but don't have the original box that it came in - can I still send it back?

Thanks
Claire :)
• 2nd order submitted! :) So far I have 12 customers in total (6 of whom ordered this time) - a little bit less than my first order but made up the order by ordering Christmas presents and things I needed! Hoping that the next order will be a bit more seeing as though its nearly Crimbo!

Another question (I know, its not like me!) has anyone ever ordered a load of demo products and showed them to their customers? I have only been invited into one of my customers houses and she was an elderly lady and I didn't want to seem like I was pushing products onto her! I just would love to show off some of the make up and maybe do make overs - I would do an Avon party but I don't know enough people! (Billy No Mates!) :S

Yes, no probs - provided it appears when you search 'credits' on your website.

Well done. Yes, if you want territory then ask for some. Not all reps do want to do territory but it's a good way to increase your sales/earnings.
