There is various couriers round the country that get our orders to deliver to us. I don't think they get our contact info - as far as I know all they have it what is on the address label - ie your address, and your safe location (ie a shed/garage, wherever you are happy for your order to left if you are out). I'm sure they'll find you, they'll have your postcode and will be used to delivering orders in your area, as they will deliver other things not just Avon.
I sooo hope your right.
Unfortunately we have 2 post codes one takes you to the pub (other end of the village) the other just stops randomly down a road with no houses on it, which means very few finds uspeople who have lived here their whole lives are shocked to hear there's a house in the mass of trees we live in, so even stopping and asking tends not to help
*fingers crossed*
hope they use the same people as tassimo or next because they find usand not whoever home delivery network became because they are hopeless! lol.
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

I dont know if i was very lucky but I did get a call from the courier on my first order to confirm they were delivering the next day and that it would be between 7am-12pm. I however have never received a call since so maybe they were just overly generous that day.
Im sure if there is any issue with delivering they will go back to Avon if they dont have your number but think positive and it will all be ok
I don't know the name of the courier I have all i know is its a yellow van and not a massive named company as in I don't instantly recognise the name.0 -
Finished work last Friday for this year (less than 5 weeks now till baby is due
), decided to do my tax return today to get it out of the way...but my baby brain decided earlier this year to not keep my p60! So have had to email work to request another be posted to me. Can't understand what I've done with it, I usually file everything way; even things we don't really need to keep...the one thing I need and It's no where to be found
Well congrats Lozza, not long at all till baby time.:j

I have to say after the enthusiastic start from my sl and my asm I am now rather disappointed with them as I am still getting no where with any issues i have had. My ASM has now changed and since the change i have had one email from her telling me of some discount but every time i contact her I get no response back
Is there any way to get info on how much my territory should make me without going through my ASM as i have emailed her 3 times and left 2 messages with customer services to get her to call me and 2 emails to my SL. My SL has stopped contacting me too. Guess she is annoyed with me bombarding her lol.0 -
Thanks for all your help guys really appreciate it!
Just need to ask - just looked at my invoice and they have sent me the next book (C17) and charged me 55p for this even though I didn't order it - I'm guessing this is just something that happens automatically?
Thanks

Unfortunately the only people who can access that info will be your sl and your asm. Awful behaviour from the pair of them, especially your sl as you're earning her money! To be fair though - even if you got the figures, chances are you would be way below the expected sales figures anyway. Me & Dh are for ours, and that's with doing Avon for a few years and having a lot of customers that aren't on our territory. The figures they work out, assume that every avon customer on that street will order from you - but of course not all will as they might order from a friend/family/work colleague or direct online.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

If you've not ordered brochures (well the ones they recommend you order - the middle set on the ordering page, for 2 campaigns time), they will send you a single brochure at a charge of 55p. However, as you didn't order it, it's returnable. It's the only time brochures can be returned for credit. I do it every campaign, as we order all brochures on my account, so my husband gets sent & charged for a single brochure, so every time it gets returned for credit.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
My first order is here
yay!
They can get our phone numbers which is a relief, they just have to phone up and request them, as the man said he never would have found us without it..
I also now know they come to me at 7am!! Know I've got to be up now on delivery days
XI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Out of stock items on your invoice - you'll notice there's no pricing information next to these items, which means you haven't been charged. All the items that are being delivered are itemised showing the brochure price and cost to you.
Maths and taxes - there is a little bit of maths to be done, but not complex stuff. Adding, subtracting (and percentages if you use something partly for business and partly personal reasons). Basically, your accounts just show all the money that comes in and all the money that you spend. The money's not doing anything other than those two things (being received or being spent).
Ringing HMRC to register - they do have an online form but that will take a similar length of time to ringing, but when you ring you're speaking to a human being and you can make sure you're answering questions correctly.
Mods feel free to remove this link, but I did a step-by-step guide that includes links to the websites you need to use and sources of free advice.
If that link gets removed, here's my favourite one separately: it's a guide to doing profit and loss accounts. If you do your accounts that makes doing your tax return simpler. Tbh you can't have accurate figures going off your invoices alone. I recommend you do a profit and loss summary of each campaign shortly after delivery so it's fresh in your mind. Then at the end of the tax year it's easy to do an overview of the entire year because you've done it a little bit at a time each campaign.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Just a quick ask on this whole tax thing as ive been reading up on it as going to apply for self employment later today if I can. Just need to know and understand, if you are not going to be earning enough to pay tax then can you claim any expenses back such as purchase of brochures, ink, printer costs or can you only claim a portion of those costs if you are earning enough to pay taxes. Im actually training to become an accountant so really should know this stuff but still confuses me as we have not covered this aspect of it yet.0
