Have a nice time, lozza. Hope your cash flow gets up to date once you're back.

Sorry to hear so many of you are having problems. When it works it's nice and smooth but the ruts get a little bumpy. I've still got the hump with Avon but my last moaning email to them got an unexpected helpful response so there may be hope after all!

    Have a good weekend everyone.

    morning- just a quick question

Do i need to pay my invoice in full?

For example my invoice amount was say £90, i have received payment for all my orders and i can pay what I have order personally and my demos so that's £70.

I have £20 of returns which i have already requested credit for.

Now do i need to pay £90- and then have £20 worht of credit on my account

    or

    can I Pay £70?

I don't want to incur fines or penalties.

    Thanks!

Yeh if you know how much your returns come to, you can underpay your bill by that amount, then after you've made payment the credits will be applied to your account so it will show as clear. Can take a little while for the credits to be applied, but don't worry it will get done automatically.

Well done to my delivery drivers who having realised that I was out, pulled my note with mobile number off my front door, left my delivery with another rep I don't know who lives down the road and failed to leave anything in my letterbox to inform me this was the case. Cue hours later (tonight) when I notice an email from avon.

How difficult is it for the flipping driver to pop a note in my letterbox advising me where he has left my delivery?

Gonna be really pushed to get my orders sorted and out tomorrow. Not to mention that I have a box of returns waiting to go, grrrr!

I've ended up stepping on someone toes down a road i just canvased. Collected 10 (out of 20) books, no orders, 6 books were lost by people not being to find them and i lost 4 after posting them on the side of the street where this rep lived.

I knocked on someones door and the gentlemen told me the lady opposite is their avon lady and the same day i dropped off books was the day she dropped of her order to them- she took my book and told the gentleman to tell me to come over and get it!! As it had my mobile number and email- i'm just wondering if she just wants to have a go at me to my face!

I came home very defeated- and decided that the road not worth it.
  • Thanks everyone for your answers to my questions, however i have got another one, when i return products to Avon and i get credited online, do they return the money to my bank or my avon account balance?

Also, Lozza if you can answer this when you get back...remember you said you sometimes use old brochures in canvassing territories, can i ask how old are the brochures? I have got a lot from campaign four but not sure if i should use them? I dont see myself buying a lot in the near future to be honest.

Did Avon allocate the road to you because when I first started this happened to me. It was a really long road so I posted both campaigns I was given by my SL through the doors and when I went back to collect them you should have heard everyone, Jean is our Avon lady!!! You would have thought I'd committed murder(at least they are loyal to their Avon rep!) anyhow I lost most of my books which was annoying and the next time I spoke to my SL I mentioned it,she checked with Avon and it wasn't the road at all she should have given me it was a court at the end of the road with 4 flats in it!
So double check you have been allocated the right house numbers is what I was eventually trying to get at:)

The credit comes off your balance so you will be in credit until your next order then the credit amount will come off that.

I use any old brochures - the only ones I don't use are Christmas ones after December, but other than if they are only a max of say 3 months old I tend to use them (any older than that and they get thrown away due to lack of space!).
