I have good credit rating and doesn't own Avon any money. I am thinking about joining Avon but I am quite heavy (22 stones), I am currently walking 1 hour a day to see if I can lose some weight so I could drop the Avon magazines on my walks and earn some extra money. All Avon sales rep I have seen are pretty and slim, I have lost a lot of my confidence since putting weight on and I am really scaried of singing up and then once I meet the avon seller face to face she will just think I am too fat to reprents their brand and dump me, this would really drag me down so please be sincere to me: is there any restriction on who can sell avon? do you have to look good? I love perfume and moisture, bath bubbles etc but I am not one to wear make up, do you have to wear a lot of make up and look great meeting customers?
Good luck, L; hope by now you have signed up!?! If not, do your homework/ask around a find a good (ideally local) SL to sign up with.
Great time to do it now as you should hopefully still get into the Rising Star II scheme with the chance of getting £100 worth of freebies + a £50 credit on your Avon a/c. :j
Enjoy!!

To add to what others have already suggested....
Well done you planning ahead. Am a great supporter of 'knocking and asking' instead of 'stuffing and running'. (Both routes work and, as ever, it's your Avon business so totally up to you how you do it i.e. within Avon's T&Cs.) Knocking and Asking takes longer initially but at least you will know that your books are only left with houses where there is some interest in Avon. Where people are actually out (and the ones, who say No initially - certainly, say, end October) you can put an expired brochure through or just a note announcing that you are their local Avon rep and ask them to call/email you if they'd like to see an Avon Xmas gift catalogue.
If you offer a free gift with (first) orders £10/15/20+ that can help too.
Good luck!

I recanvassed my road this campaign, I've done one collection of books (chasing others up on Monday) and I've picked up a new customer and 4/5 who want books
:j I'll recanvass other roads with the next campaign. I haven't got that many books back this time otherwise I'd put them out now
I'm waiting on over 40 books to get back on Monday!

What to do? My second orders invoice is online and I now notice that a customer ordering 1 bubble bath ordered 2 free (back ordered from 14) how ever they have used wrong order codes so I've input them as 2 to pay for and 1 free! So it's cost £8 and should be £4 so I'm losing out by £4 on the money I'm collecting in :-( Will Avon honor price or will I lose out or should I just send back? What do you normally do in this situation? I know I'll check and double check next time now!0

go to credits and replacements and do them as replacements - there is an option for wrong item or something like that.Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

they'll send you replacements, so you can send the replacements back as the originals as it is just an admin change, then the customer can still have their products.Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

Hi everyone
I am an Avon Rep newbie, this is my first campaign. I started as a lady I work closely with has stopped doing it and was getting £800 worth of orders from our workplace. So far this campaign, I have £400 worth of orders with 10 days left. With working full time as well as being a single parent, will doing my work be enough for my area manager or will I be expected to canvass my street also? xxx0 -
there is no expectation to canvass the streets - territory is all allocated online anyway, so unless you have requested territory you won't be given any and it will sit vacant until another rep in that area is appointed and given it.Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

Either ring Fastrack yourself or get your Upliner to ring their SL Helpline. As this is only your second order they should appreciate this is an honest mistake and apply the relevant credit to your a/c so you don't miss out. (Do know that's possible because it happened to one of my newbies last campaign and that's exactly what I did.) Yes, it's possible to sort by returning and re-ordering but easier all round for Avon just to apply the credit you need.
Good tip (if you have a printer) - print off your priced order before submitting and check it c a r e f u l l y against your customer orders. If you're anything like me, it's easy to miss a mistake online but when you see it in black and white on paper it stands out like a sore thumb.
HTH and good luck going forward.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
