I don't, I'd find it far too confusing! Ive only done it once, when they did the foundation on offer at £3 I think it was so I ordered and sent them back as if they were more expensive ones ordered previously. Only time I've done it as it was such a massive difference. Otherwise I'd find it too confusing as well as feeling rather dishonest!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I dont either. Although I made an additional order, approx £30 of goods. Topped it up with Money Maker orders but got no discount and £2.50 charge. Now I knew about the charge but pretty peed off that I got no discount. So this campaign I've reordered the goods with my regular order and already requested a credit on the nett ones. No way I'm making a loss! Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I just became an Avon Rep tonight just read through this thread quickly & my head is buzzing!!!
I know I have to register with HMRC I already work full time so anyone any idea how much I will get taxed on any more earnings I am rubbish with all of this stuff.
Got all my books organised & sat writing out all my details on the order forms & got me a facebook page.
Cant wait to get started.

Tax - assuming you're not in the high earner tax bracket, you'll pay 20% tax in every pound (20p per pound) of your taxable income over the personal allowance. I'm guessing since you're full time already you're already over the tax-free allowance. But you can claim for expenses to keep your tax bill down.
So if your Avon turnover was £100 but you spent £20 on expenses needed to run your business, your taxable profits would be £80. And 20% of £80 is less than 20% of £100 so it pays to keep track of all expenses you can legally claim for.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I work full time too, and doing Avon hasn't affected my wages in anyway, as IG says above it just means its different for us on our Avon earnings. Don't forget though you only pay tax on your profit, and theirs plenty of legitimate expenses you can put down to minimise how much tax you actually pay.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Just a quick dilema that I am sure everyone who does Avon comes accross. When you get a customer order and they haven't spotted a deal do you make the most of it and gain profit/extra products for yourself or do you adjust their order form and then tell them about it??
I have a couple of customers who haven't spotted the offer in C14 pg 200-209 for multiple purchases and have ordered more than 1 product and I can never decide what to do. Just interested to see what others do.0 -
If they've missed the offer then I honour it for them, adjusting their order form for the price/quantity. Earns you brownie points, helping to keep your customers loyal and encouraging them to recommend you to their friends as you're so fab making sure they dont miss outAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Apparently there's been an article (?) in The Mail about AF-33 (C16). Anyone read it and can enlighten as to whether it was an advert, product test or what? My dads partner wants to try some and she doesn't usually use avon so wondered what they'd been saying! Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

The article's here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2201893/Avon-wrinkle-cream-Women-convinced-need-cosmetic-surgery.html
I haven't shared the link because the comments underneath from the public are so negative. Also, it mentions being available from the online shop from Friday (14th Sept). I'm in mailplan A and the earliest it's at my house is 8th Oct! Only trendsetters or the highest selling reps who place early orders have had access to this in large quantities any earlier. A rep on Connects has already reported 2 people not happy to wait and ordering online rather than through her, and another 2 waiting but not very impressed.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here.
