I've just thought of something looking at my invoice. Is it the total price or the avon price without my commision?
Oh I hope it's the total(

My first order was for £244 but there were a couple of items unavailable so I presume they will deduct the amounts of those, they were only nail varnishes so about a fiver I think.
Up to now on my second order I have £193 and still quite a few books out.
So am I right in thinking if I can do the MOV £78 on my third order I will be eligible for the £50 cashback.
Of course that is easier said than done because we are on holiday for most of the period but I'll have a good go!!
I'm starting to give C11&C12 to friends telling them that their order won't be here till 20th July so hopefully that'll do it.
I suppose if I'm a bit short it would be worth ordering some stuff myself because effectively they would be free products.
I am eventually getting my head around running two campaigns at the same time and would like to thank you all for your help so far.
I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future!!
Sounds like you're doing well with your orders :T , well done!
Don't confuse the SmartStart and Rising Star schemes though.
SmartStart applies to ALL new reps and gives you freebies for your first six campaigns depending on whether you hit HOV or MOV.
The Rising Star scheme (£150 worth of free goods for hitting MOV/ordering and paying on-time in your first two campaigns plus £50 credit if you achieve £500 worth of sales in your first three campaigns) was launched for all new reps, who placed their first orders in C10-12. am due to pick up my first lot of brochures tomorow, hopefully with lots of lovely orders in.
can i just ask a couple of questions- what kind of records do i need to keep for s/a purposes. wasnt planning on claiming back for anything other than brochures, bags, samples etc as i will be doing everything on foot. is it enough just to print copies of orders and highlight anything that is for business purposes?
also commision wise is it 20% btween £78 and £148 and then 25% on only the amount over £148?
have done a little flyer to put in with my brochures highlighting any really good offers in campaign 10 and to look out for the special offer in brochure 12 for the anew travel kits.
once i know what i am doing was planning on offering a free gift with orders over £10 every 3rd campaign. Is that too often/not often enough? and do i order them from the ht magazine- i assume i would be ok to use the items that cant be resold at the back.
not too bothered about knocking on doors to ask for books back- was planning on taking my 12 week old daughter in her carrier for the cute factor and also as a kind of ice breaker lol.
Welcome 'aboard' CB13; we're very definitely a gentle lot on here no no need to worry.
To add to Lozza's excellent post, totally up to you how often you offer a free gift. Whilst your HT will suggest you buy from clearance as incentives, I'd suggest you'd be better to buy whatever the 99p deal is out of current stock and then maybe your customer will re-order that item?
Whatever you buy will reduce your commission/discount but seems logical to me to encourage future sales rather than introduce your customers that they cannot buy again....Each to their own though.
PS: Don't forget the loyalty scheme (HT, page before Clearance) - 5 Supercurlacious Mascaras for £10 inc. 20 customer loyalty cards.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Looking at the way it's been written on the leaflet I think I should now qualify for the £150 of free products and so long as I hit over £78 on C11 I should qualify for the £50 cash back.
They really are good incentives aren't they, you would be daft not to try at the moment.
Any idea what's in the box of free products I'm quite looking forward to that(not as much as my DD is though!!)0 -

Well done again. :T Bit confused how you can qualify for the £50 credit by hitting MOV in C11 though - your first order needs to have been in C10 so the credit becomes applicable in C12 or maybe follows on in C13 (not sure).
Yes, fabulous incentives at the mo - and yet I've had two people this week change their minds about being a rep and a former rep is being really retiscent too!Makes me wonder if they think this sounds too good to be true....
Good luck. Make sure you place all your orders and pay your invoices on time. Avon are sticklers when it comes to qualifying for offers - 'near/almost' is no good, it has to be 'spot on'. Pretty sure they will take any returns into account too so be careful on that score as well.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

My first order was C9&C10 this current order is for C10&C11 and my holiday order is for C11&C12.
I haven't really given many C12 brochures out but am going to concentrate on those once I'm back from my holiday.
With books I've collected today I'm looking at orders of around £300 for this order which means ( I think) I just need the £78 MOV next time and I will receive the £50 cash back.0 -

Ah, OK, well done again. We only tend to talk about the current campaign (knowing that we can always back order) so your first order was in C10, your current order is C11 and your holiday order is C12.
DickHere says you need to hit MOV in your first three orders so sounds like you're on the right track. :T Just make sure you input all your orders on time and pay your invoices on time.
Wish you were on my team!
Good luck with your Avon business. :beer:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I had a bit of time yesterday so I had a look at the connects site and on there is someone saying about doing an Avon car boot sale.
Firstly I hate car boots but my daughter thinks it's a great idea.
My DH thinks he may have to start working 7 days a week (to get a job finished) so I would be at a lose end anyway on a Sunday which is why I'm almost considering it ( I must be mad).
I wondered if any one on here had ever done one or are you all far too sensible to be talked into it like me!!!
I know what she means and in theory it sounds o k.She says if we order the bubble baths for example in C10 they are buy 1 get 2 free at £4. So if we ordered 3(to keep it simple) we would earn £1 commission and say we sold them at £2 each we would make £2 profit on the 3 a total of £3 in all.
If we stuck to the things we knew were dearer in a different campaign we could maybe show the brochure showing the higher price.
Now I'm sounding like I think it's a good idea I hope she doesn't read this.
I wouldn't really have though Avon would like this but it is on their web site.
On the Avon site she said it was also a good way of getting new customers.
I would be interested to hear your horror stories in advance if any one has any haha.0
