(You lose your commission on the sale because you have to reimburse your customer with the price they paid but you're only entitled to credit at the price you paid.) You submit your credits to Avon, print off two forms, one goes in the box and one is your receipt. Your carrier will collect your returns when they deliver your next order. (More detailed instructions are on your website.)
Hope that helps.
Thank you for this, I think I get it! I didn't get any commission on this order anyway, so that's not really a worry, and the customer didn't pay anything. Also, I'm not going to do Avon after this, so will someone still come collect it even if I don't put another order in?0 -

You're welcome; there are various 'How to...' guides on your website but there's no substitute for being personally shown how to do something.
If you have returns but are not putting in another order you have two options:
1. Ring Avon and ask if they'll send you a special returns label so you can use the post office
2. Ask your upliner (or another rep nearby) if they'll help you by returning your box via the carrier when they next get their delivery.
If you're adamant this is your last order, that's obviously up to you but there's nothing to stop you staying on as a Personal Rep i.e. just ordering from HT and taking advantage of the discounted prices for yourself and immediate circle.
Good luck whatever you decide.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Ok.. you have a balance on your screen which should match the paper invoice you got with your delivery?
Add up the price you pay for each item you want to return. Deduct this from the balance - then pay that amount. If you have put the items through as credits on the website, it will then correct itself and your balance will be £0.00 (this can take a day or so sometimes). Does this explain it?Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

Ok, not sure what you have to return, what is owing on your balance currently, but use this as a guide to help:
say your balance says that you owe £100.
You have something to return that means you will be credited with £10 (when you submit your returns, on the last page before you submit, it will tell you how much your account will be credited with)
So, submit your return for £10.
Then, £100 minus the £10, means that you then need to pay £90 to clear your account.
Alternatively, submit your return(s).
Pay £1 off your bill online, after a day it should have triggered for the credits to be deducted from your balance, along with that £1, so then it will definitely show how much you need to pay.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

hi im tom and im 30 next year im working full time in a job im not realy enjoying and am thinking of becomeing an avon sl, but would like to ask a few questions
1 do men do well with avon bearing in mind the vast majority of reps are ladies
2 if you become an sl in one town can you also sell in another town for example if u lived in saltash cornwall but worked in plymouth devon could you deliver in plymouth
3 where i live we used to have an avon rep who was very pushy if u gave her back her book without an order she would open it and say so u dont want anything well this is on a special offer this is half price why not try one of these and she was like it all the time ive spoken to a few of her x customers and they said the reason they never ordered was because they didnt want to order through her as she was annoying which makes me wonder if by being so pushy she was pushing her customers away
and if you work really hard can you turn it into a full time living
thax for all your help0
