It did make me laugh as the majority of us had realised this by about 1400hrs ;) lol

Fingers crossed for Argos and Amazon

I'd say that's the best option. How long is the reservation for?

As far as I'm concerned, the right thing to do. If you're not sure- ask yourself this- would you be prepared to pay full price for it, or would you still be interested in it at full price? If the answer to either is no, then you're better safe then sorry. Because if Argos just return their stock to HP, and never reduce, you certainly wouldn't get a refund.

Argos left a message on my answerphone saying that they would not be able to fulfill my reservation for tomorrow and wanted to know of I wanted an alternative machine. I had ordered one when it was out of stock but they were willing to take the order. I'll have no gripe with this so long as it doesnt end with them putting a load of £89 machines on the shelves tomorrow!

To be fair the system where you can reserve an item without a reservation is pretty generous especially when there is no fix on the price.

Has anyone got an Argos reservation they don't need either in Scotland central belt (Edinburgh, Glasgow etc. ) or West Midlands area? Would be very grateful and prepared to pay subject to successful purchase at the discounted price! Please PM me. Thanks.
