Yes
No
No
Who did you buy it from and when?
If they're one of the large retailers and they've adjusted their prices to the new ones, this would imply HP are compensating them for the loss. There's no reason why they shouldn't refund you if this is the case as they get their money back. It would be interesting to know though if after you've paid the full price and they refuse to refund the difference whether they can still claim a 'loss' against that unit.
Say for example if they only have to show they sold all their units rather than the price they sold for.0 -

I got two 32GB from Tesco Direct, but unfortunately they haven't adjusted their prices to the new ones so looks like they'll both be going back for a full refund. My understanding is that HP are compensating retailers, seems Tesco aren't playing the game though.0 -
Any unwanted Argos reservations in the North East?
Hope everyone's orders go through

If anyone has a spare reservation for a store in Essex or greater london (Ilford through to London stores!!) that they no longer need, then I would be so grateful if you passed it over to me.
Tried to order from CPW and Currys last night, but computer went cuckoo and by the time I managed to get back on, all the stock had gone. Tried reserving all evening for any store in a 20 mile radius, and not one available !!
Hey ho, if im lucky then it would be great, if not well done to anyone that managed to get one. You lucky things lol !!0 -

I notice yesterday they still had Currys on their price check page for the Touchpad indicating that the price was last updated on 22-8, they now list only Argos and Amazon for their price check for the Touchpad with today's date.
I guess it must be easy to do a price check if you selectively compare yourself to the retailers that make you look good, seems a bit unfair though and if it was me I'd have a row with them on that one.0 -
Has all argos stck been reserved? I've been trying to reserve one in the midlands with no success.0

Haha. I got on to that too. Shows what a con the whole price check thing is. Not sure I can be bothered arguing with Tesco though.
Had a Pre since launch day and got a Pre 2 so really wanted a touchpad but not for #440.0
