has anyone noticed that Amazon.co.uk had 10 in stock about an hour ago and then now down to 8 selling at £249.00 i mean why are people buying these at this price, surely they are going to follow suit and reduce to £115?

How many times are people going to post this, its it NOT Amazon. They are marketplace sellers selling through Amazon. Amazon themselves sold out ages ago.

They will be market place traders and perhaps some opportunist looking to make a quick buck

Even if you bought the TouchPad in-store tt should be covered by the 30-day money back guarantee though....

By their very own T&C's, there is no † next to the product name hence it is covered by the guarantee.

This is just my take on things.

Easily overridden by them saying at the till that the item is excluded from the 30 days money back guarantee as it gets printed on the receipt.

Could try quick pay buy I suspect they will have the message saying it is excluded before you pay.

  • lol it isnt that clear to be honest, at least now I know that Amazon is a useless channel (should have read the threads before posting) so Argos none to reserve in London or South East, looks like game over.

Might not be...i ordered one from Argos at full price on Monday for delivery Friday, the hope was that in the time between the price would drop and i would be able to take it back into store, get a refund, and promptly repurchase it. However I have since been told that returns wont go straight back into stock so I may not be able to buy it back straight away - since the Argos website is now showing out of stock for delivery its seems quite a few people must be tryng this route? In which case there will be quite a few returns next week randomly dropping back into stock...
