Also to make you aware that HP will be launching the Pre 3 mobile. This is reported to be slashed in price also. It's yet to be launched here but when it does, it will be around the £45 - £55 price range as it will be stock that needs shifting. It would normally retail at approx £400 or so sim free.

It will be sim free and an excellent cheap upgrade option... be aware and do your research!

Has anyone had a telephone call from Comet after successfully placing an order on Monday?

After placing the order I got an order confirmation e-mail, but not an order completed one yet. However my order is still live on my account on their website, it hasn't been cancelled etc. My delivery date is supposed to be for Thursday.

When I was out today, at midday my partner got a call from a Chantelle at Comet who phoned to speak to me. She didn't leave a message other than to tell me she will send me an e-mail.

I didn't get that e-mail.

I've no idea what's going to happen with my order - I will give them a call tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone else had that call?

bother after all this time mon/tues on the computer argos reduce their price but for collection only and there were none in Bristol/ South Wales, Nottingham Monday night to reserve! Hopefully something will come up on ebay in a few weeks

i just opened up argos and it showed the reduced price it said less than half price 115 for 32 gb and 89 for 16. i ran around the whole house like a headless chicken telling everyone that it has finally happened....only to refresh the page a few minutes later for the price to go back up ..did anyone else see the discounted page????

i think that means they will def put the prices down today.......they r just messing around with the pages now

and they are out of stock for delivery and collection - so they have sold out at thier central depot and all the stores have thier stock reserved......if you aint got one reserved or in the post, then you aint getting one!
