Does anybody know if Amazon will honour orders or, will they cancel them. Reason I ask, this morning I ordered a touchpad at £89 and have not been updated on its status, it just says:

    Not yet dispatched
We'll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date for this item. It will be dispatched separately. You can cancel at any time.

I am optimistic as to whether I get one... if I do great, if I do not then it's not the end of the world...

I think Amazon are carefully considering their options.

I ordered 3 x 32GB yesterday at full price (for my father in law and 2 work colleagues - not to sell) when they were showing as in stock, today they are still held in the system and I enquired about whether they were adjusting pricing.

I have an email from them this afternoon saying their buyer is considering their policy regarding pricing and I will receive a response within 2 business days.

If you have an android phone you may be able to switch it on to be a mobile hub, that is a WiFi hotspot, thus using your phone connection rather than buy a dongle. Of course, this eats into your mobile data... Just so you know.

Argos refused to extend my reservation. However I do know that just under 24 hours of reservation of you don't pick it up you can search again and the reservation will appear. Just got my one back!

Now just hope they will drop the price.

If anyone has any reservation numbers going in Birmingham or nearby areas (Four Oaks, Lichfield, Walsall, Wolverhampton, etc), that'd be really useful. Got a younger brother who's interested, and everything else just seems to keep falling through- and I lost my reservation today because I hadn't realised the Argos it was reserved at closed earlier then I realised.

Heard on the other thread Comet are running a reserve list - anyone on it already and think its worth a punt? Or is it worth waiting for more stock to appear online??

    Strategies people!?! :)

That would be absolutely fantastic if you wouldn't mind. Thanks so much for the offer, even if nothing comes of it.

Here's to hoping yours comes in from CPW, with a guaranteed lower price for you (because I'm obviously not just hoping I get your code ;) ). Genuinely though, hope things go well for you.
