    This behaviour does nothing but alienate potential customers. Why should I shop at PCW, Comet, Dixons, etc when I know that the moment a bargain pops up, the employees have first dabs? Furthermore why should I ever return for a future sale? Undervalued as a customer and treated with contempt, reservations and orders cancelled and mysteriously vanishing, it stinks.
    I doubt they care - people who know what they are looking for and want to get a good price like most of the people on this site tend to avoid the above stores

    So the gullible people who are their main client base will keep going regardless

    Yep, worked for me. I phoned up customer services and they said to go into store where they'd sort it, and sure enough they did. I'd recommend phoning up first though, as I've a suspicion they may have added something to their online system to instruct the store what action to take.

    I've been told by my mate at PC world that they WILL have access to over 2,000 tablets from HH:00.01 Thursday morning. HP are dumping them all and these will be stock that come with additional items (special purchase pack), case etc for the same price (89 and 115)...

    Totally agree however its called greed and that's the worst part of human nature.

    Ah so they where okay with it. what did you say. I never seem to have luck when ringing companies

    hmm would be nice - but dabs had 2000 this morning and they all sold out and the site was unresponsive for me so will still be tough to get one :o
  • I have been passing emails back and forth to Comet with the eventual outcome that they do not give a damn. Anyone else had any luck getting their money back from Comet?

    Went in this morning and got my money back from them, they told me they had a price promise that if they lowered there price within 14 days they would need to refund me the difference.
