Absolutely. It is human nature... we all want a bargain. Hell, we would want these for free.
Some people however need to get a grip. Emailing, complaining because they cannot get one of these Tablets, or because they have a basket or email that says they ordered and have still yet to receive one... really.
This is a 'fire' sale. Shops are getting rid of stock. You either get one of you do not... and, if you have the money to buy, well, you have the money to nab one off ebay or a similar auction site for £150 or so.

I've been told by my mate at PC world that they WILL have access to over 2,000 tablets from HH:00.01 Thursday morning. HP are dumping them all and these will be stock that come with additional items (special purchase pack), case etc for the same price (89 and 115)...
This could be true given that Equanet (PC World Business partner) had stock of over 2000 last night when I checked and then all became unavailable this morningThe Daily Mail

I was basing my Expanseys info on the IP Portal link someone posted earlier.......Expansys is very slow at the moment and although the pricing of the Touchpad is still at £360, it has published the following statement to inform potential purchasers "If you place a pre-order for this product now, we will not ship the product or charge your credit card without confirming you still wish to proceed when stock arrives. There are no cancellation charges."
I can't actually find that piece of information on their website which is a bit worrying though, would feel more confident then. Even if price does not come down I can just say don't post out which will save the sending back hassle as well.0 -

Folks,
I placed an order on staples for the 32GB TouchPad shortly before 9.30am this morning. I just received a call from them asking to confirm some security details, electoral registration information etc.
The woman on the phone was saying they are currently out of stock, but they know they are receiving around 200 32GB units in the next few days. Unfortunately,
they are cancelling orders placed after a certain time as they were "well sold out", but I was one of the lucky few who may have got in just in time. She said there are still no guarantees, but it's looking promising and I should know for sure within the next two days. I've just received an order confirmation mail, so fingers crossed.....
I don't mean to rub anyone's face in it by the way! Just wondering if anyone has received a call and been told similiar?
Edit: Also ordered at play.com for £430 around 11am and just found out it's now OOS. So I've cancelled this order, I'm disappointed by these jokers, thought play would have handled this much better. I certainly won't be hurrying back to them again in future...0 -
I have had a confirmation that my 32GB is ready for collection until the 30th August at Argos - fingers crossed something will happen soon!!
you still had no luck as yet other than argos eh.... a mate of mine said he read something about argos changing their prices this afternoon. Though that came from twitter so there is a 99% chance it was BS
