just had text from Argos saying my reservation for 16gb is ready to collect instore UNTIL 30th August.... anyone else had something like this?

Think it may be best to leave it until the last day to get it, and if they haven't dropped the price by then I guess they never will!

Must be lots of us eagerly awaiting news from Argos re reductions!

Yeah I've got one sat instore reserved but don't want to risk not getting a refund of the difference... Frustrating

just confirmed with HP, Pre 3 to cost 120£ with a ton of accessories, not 46£ as most people are saying

This would be consistent with the reported e-mail from Palm's site regarding "around £100".

I'd go for it if it came with a charging dock. Otherwise, I might reconsider..I could only hope to get about £60 for my old phone and I don't fancy paying much to upgrade.

I bought a 32GB touchpad today and everywhere I look they have been reduced. Will I get the difference refunded down to the new price being offered by everyone else? If not I will return and look for something else. pleae advise

At a guess, it would mean that you get the extra accessories. What could be happening, if the guy is genuine, is they're packing the Touchstone dock with it rather than trying to sell them separately.

But that is just a guess.

Someone called up and apparantly Expansys might not be able to fulfill any orders anyway.
