Many thanks for the link.
It says
Your order is being processed. Your order should have arrived on Thu, 25 Aug 2011.
So I presume I am just waiting for them to clarify whether they have stock?
Not had a confirmation email though so not holding my breath! :rotfl:
Many thanks

Back in stock at Tesco Direct, but at full price.

It looks like some people have gone back with their Touchpads and received full refund. Let us see how Tesco manage to 'make hay' when the Touchpad frenzy continues. I am sure they will be left carrying/dumping these babies.Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Just checked my order on CPW's tracker, moved to processing - hurrah! Spoke to a chap on the phone at CPW as the tracker said I should see it delivered today but hadn't received any emails with tracking numbers. It's in 'picking' at the moment and payment has been taken so I should receive it tomorrow! Ordered at ~19.30 Monday evening.
Thanks again to everyone on here and the OP!0 -
Sorry, yes. The DSR are a pet hate of mine.
In any event, as the law currently stands, if you bought online from Tesco, you have up to ten days from delivery to cancel the contract for a refund including delivery costs. It may be that Tesco will require you to bear the cost of returning the goods to them (this is allowed under DSR). If you cancel the contract, they must refund the full amount you paid (including any delivery costs) within 30 days. They are not allowed to place any conditions on this refund. This means you are at liberty to use, or do what you want with the goods provided that you notify Tesco you want to cancel under the DSR within 10 days of delivery. They are not permitted to wait until you return the goods before making the refund if you take longer than 30 days to return them.
If the goods are damaged when you return them to Tesco, they may have a case against you, but they would still have to make the refund and they would have to take you to court to obtain compensation for any loss they could prove.0 -

I totally agree. It's not like they can sell them on again at the original RRP.come on Tesco, do the gentlemanly thing!

I'd also tried to order from Amazon and Laskys but both of these orders were cancelled, so I assumed that I wouldn't get the PC World one either, but I was really excited to get cofirmation of despatch late last night, and according to the tracking, it's out for delivery at the moment!
I recieved an order confirmation from Currys on the Monday night and have been deafened by the sound of silence ever since...:(0 -

I bought a case from staples for £21. They just called me to say they will have to cancel the order because they don't have the stock to fulfill the order. It's a wonder how stores like this over order in the hope they will receive more from the manufacturer.
Staples probably accepted the order so that they could ship me a catalogue which I didn't want.
That call got me slightly back to reality and made me think....why am I doing this?? All for a tablet I wasn't considering last week regardless of price.
Coming back on here though has made me want to fire up twitter on my phone and check the tesco situation :rotfl: Not quite mob mentality but the community feel makes we want to go onSpend now, Save Later!!!! :beer:0
